If I ever have a little girl one of my favourite names is Taylor but lots of people have told me it's more suited to a boy?

What's your thoughts and does anyone have a little Taylor? If so, boy or girl?

I think its unisex iv heard both girls and boys called it..
but when i had a miscarriage and got told he was a boy and his set name was Taylor so id be abit biased and say more boys but  x

either but i think more girl as my friend has a little girl called Taylor. Isn't it Tayler for a boy er not or .

I have always though Tyler for a Girl and Taylor for a Boy..i have no idea why though lol..x

i love the name for both but its my surname lol so no chance of me using it i think Taylor for a boy and spelt Tayla for a girl but sounds the same my friends baby is called tayla mai she is as gorgeous as her name. xxx

This post came at a funny time! I have been thinking about the name Taylor for the past few days. I really like it for a boy... but was worried that it's used more often for girls. I have known several Taylor's... all girls. Plus Taylor Swift is huge right now (female country singer). I was watching a movie the other night and there was a boy named Taylor... and a guy named Taylor won American Idol a few season's ago.

It's definately a unisex name... i prefer it for boys (i like fem/girly names for girls)... but i think it's more commonly used for girls. Ha! Have i confused you even more! lol :dohh:

I love Taylor, I agree that it is unisex but for me I much prefer it for a girl. My second daughter was going to be Taylor right up until she was born, then I changed my mind as she didnt look like a Taylor :nope:. I really like it . xx

I think its unisex but in my own experience iv only heard it used on boys where i am i think its more popular as a girls name in America. But id use it on a girl if i liked it enough i think its totally unisex infact my friend always said if she had a little girl shed name her Taylor after her grandad

xx

Personally I think it's a surname or a profession...

I think it is unisex but prefer it more on the male species :winkwink:

I think it can be either, but I like it for a girl. It was actually one of my top girls names but got ruled out by DH :hissy:

unisex, for boys and girls both. I know male and female Taylors
x

One of my best gal-pal's is named Taylor! We all call her Tay :)
So it's a unisex name fer sure! :D

I think it is unisex, how about Taylor for a boy abd Tayla for a girl? x
