Team Fashionably Late

Congrats Kiwi ...

Hope I can join .... I am on CD6 and it is our 5th month TTC (unofficially that is).

I'm 35 and DH is 31.

He seems to have the attitude "if it happens, it happens". Although I have the same attitude, very time I get a BFN, I'm quite disappointed :(

Glad to see I'm not alone :)

Hi Ladies and Thank you,

mwttc / want2bamom.... I came off the pill in October and started TTC straight away, began temping BBT in Nov/Dec cycle. Was convinced I was pregnant previous cycle to this one after having every symtom under the sun. This cycle we used preseed and :bfp: Did not have many symtoms this time just some light cramping and tired so didnt think I was pregnant. I tested 13dpo and got quite a strong :bfp:

Hubby bought me a digi clearblue yesterday and used that this morning "pregnant 2 -3 weeks conception". I think seeing pregnant rather than 2 pink lines made it very clear to him as he didnt really understand what he was looking at on Monday!

Welcome to Fashionably late. I think most partners do take a much more casual approach to ttc. TTC is not in their head 24/7 like it is for some of us. My DH never brings up ttc its always me who starts the conversation, however if we are out say shopping and see a pregnant lady he will give me a caring look or squeeze my hand so I do know deep down somewhere he understands and we are in this together.

That's so sweet shalagirl.
I know my OH understands to some extent, but it's just not the same for guys. We need to have at least a general idea of what's going on with our bodies and the more signs and things we track the more real it is for us girls. Plus we need to eat right, take multivitamins, stop drinking/smoking (potentially), and know when we should be testing or AF is late. Guys, just :sex: and figure its all good.

Very true.

My DH will tell me about a cute baby that he saw and how it made him all broody, which is so cute. But he is one of those men that thinks it will just happen magically. I have to remind him that we still need to :sex:

On a side note...

IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!!!

:happydance:

:happydance: WooHoo Friday!!
Totally excited to see some EWCM today. I wish I had a magic wand that would fix my OH so I'd get some :sex: tonight, but I was worried I'd OV earlier this week, now I'm not sure and not being out of the running even if it isn't likely has really cheered me up.

I'm heading on vacation tomorrow and probably won't have internet access again till I get back on April 5th, so if any new member come along or people post testing results, don't be alarmed when the first post doesn't reflect the information.
:dust: to everyone.

Hi, everyone. I think the :witch: got me; I'm spotting pink. Keep telling myself it might be implantation bleeding, but something inside me knows better...:sad1:.

Hi Ladies,

I was supposed to test tomorrow but tested on Monday and got my:bfp: tested again yesterday :bfp: :happydance: both on a superdrug test. Still going to do another one tomorrow or Saturday with a digiblue.

Still quite early so a little nervous and hoping for a sticky bean.

:dust: to all.

Congratulations!!! Lots of sticky-baby dust to you!!!

Didn't see your post, sorry!

I was also telling myself implantation bleeding but I think it has to be the :witch: It doesn't feel like the usual build up to AF though...

Mine's getting stronger now, so it's definitely AF.

One more cycle... no big deal. Maybe we'll have Xmas babies. Wouldn't that be great?!? Let's stay positive; it's only a matter of time.

congrats kiwigirl! have a happy, healthy pregnancy!

I also started bleeding today...but quite happy as I knew it was a wasted month...
I am trying to conceive via donor insemination and only had 1 insem far to early last cycle as donor was away.....

Good day ladies! I lost you for a bit, but you are found again!
Is Spring upon you all? Not so much here, but can definately feel it coming.

Waiting for the :witch: so I can get on tracking again. OH says just let it happen... but he doesn't have to know I'm paying attention!

Oh! and for the sake of the first page info... I'm 32

:witch:

Hot water bottle is in use. Haven't had cramps this bad for a long time!

Great start to the weekend...

Is it tonight that the clocks go back??

xxx

LilMinx - clocks go forward tonight, so we loose an hour. Hope your cramps disappear, I had it all day yesterday, but they've gone today, x

Sorry she got to you ladies. FX for this cycle.

SIL announced last week she is pg. She is 40 and they have been trying for nearly 2 year. There is hope!

Thank you!

I wasn't happy about losing an hour but at least it will stay lighter for longer. Bring on the summer! The shops are full of lovely summery clothes but it was so horrible yesterday. I forced myself away from the house, thinking the walk into the city would help the cramps (which it did) but I was practically blown away by the wind and drowned by the rain! :cold:
