Teeth 1-2 years

I was just curious how many teeth your toddler has?? I am not worried about Dec he has 17 teeth now at 17 months, but I was a little concerned about my little nephew, he is 21months and still only has 8 teeth. I know all kids are different and develope at different rates but 8 teeth seems very little to have at 21 months. Anyone else have or had a toddler who where late in getting their teeth. My friends daughter was like that, it took her forever to get teeth. All of my boys had much more than that though. My oldest got them early, he even got his "2yr molars" by 14mo

Thanks Toria but I know all this , I am a Dental nurse I know when teeth are suppose to erupt but I just wanted to know if anyone had been through the same thing because I personally have never seen a 21 month old with only 8 teeth.

She could be one of the ones that has all her teeth by 18 months !!!! Lucky you

Sam is the same age as dec n he as got all his top ones but only 2 bottom ones but he as only just got them ovr the last 3 months

He has 12 teeth at 17 months, so he still has loads compared to my nephew, it is just really weird most kids seem to have between 10-12 at 15-17 months and he still only has 8 at 21 months. How was Sam getting his 2 year molars at the top?? Dec has cut one and it was bloody awful.

Paige is 14months (so alittle younger) and has 5 teeth.

My friends little girl whos a day older then Paige has no teeth x

Bethanie didn't start getting teeth until about 10 months and even then she only had a few. She finished getting her last 2 teeth only about a month or so ago, so I wouldn't worry yourself about it!

Colton has 10 at 12 months. Six top (front four and 1st molars), and four bottom.
