One of my boys suddenly today started to grind his teeth, or click them together. No idea what, but I find it distressing to hear and put a dummy in his mouth when he does. He is teething a lot and now has at least 5 teeth that I can see. Any others noticed this?

My son has JUST started doing the exact same thing today. It's so horrible to listen to it but google says it's fine. So I'm hoping it is. :haha:

4 teeth here, with 2 more looking to be coming up top.

Awful isn't it? His twin can't because he has no top teeth to grind with :haha:

It is a stage! My eldest two both did it once their top teeth had come through. Lasted a couple of weeks and stopped. Dd3 has had 7 teeth for 2 months now and never grinded hers. I guess its just one of those annoying things that babies do! It will pass, promise!

Yes - all the time when she is teething. It's horrible to listen to, but they do get bored of it quickly. I think it's like when you have a burn in your mouth or a mouth ulcer or something and because you're not used to it, it feels massive and you can't leave it alone.
