Hi ladies!!
Well I have my 12wk scan this Friday and if all goes to plan we will be telling both sets of parents straight after...I am so nervous!! It was planned and we've been together 7 yrs and Married a year but I'm just so worried about their reaction..especially my parents..well my mum!!:flower:
Telling my friends on Sunday as we are having dinner together..I'm due to be a bridemaid for one of then 8wk after my Due date so a little anxious about her reaction too
Anyone any suggestions or words or wisdom to make this easier?!?
Love and hugs to you all xoxo:kiss:

I think you have done fantastic not telling before now! You must have some good willpower and no bump!!
We live on the other side of the Atlantic to all our friends and family - so much easier keeping the secret....as long as the webcam only shows shoulders up lol.
I think they will be thrilled! Let us know how they react. Good luck.

Well done for keeping it a secret until 12 weeks, Im sure theyll be over the moon, you've been together for a while and are married so I'm sure they'll be expecting it at some point soon! GL xx

Thank you!! It's been tough as I'm really close with my in laws so have just had to avoid them!! I'm by really showing at all, just look chubby to be honest but I'm eating crap at the moment so it's not arousing too much suspicion!!
Awww I shall let you know over the weekend!!
I hope you and your little bean are okay xoxo

It's been so hard as I've known since I was 5 wk and I love telling people good news so it'll be a huge relief when I can tell people and also tell work as I have quite a physical job in retail and it's getting hardwork.
Ooh you haven't too much longer to go have you?! How are you feeling?!?
Yeah, a think a few of my DH friends have their suspicions and maybe some family but haven't said anything as we don't want to jinx anything xoxo

:hi: well done on keeping it a secret - you're a better woman than me!! I'm sure your family will be happy for you - it's a wonderful thing. As for your friend, I'm due to be a bridesmaid for my friends at the end of May and she was so good when I broke the news to her - she basically said we will see how I feel at the time - and if they need to get me a sack then she will :haha:

Good luck :flower:

My DH and I took the 12 wk scan down to his mother's and told her, showing the scan. I had had an m/c 2 years before and so, she burst into tears and was more excited than we were/are...I had seen her when I would have been 7-8 wks, but hadn't taken a test yet (I had/have erratic cycles) so felt somewhat fake not mentioning that I was late, but given our past history, didn't want to get her hopes up.

My parents are in the states, so I emailed my mom after the positive test just in case something went bad, at least she would know. We did the official emails (and telephone call to my mommy) at wk 12, saying it was official.

so far, so good - will be 17wks on Thursday

best wishes

Thank you for your kind words an support ladies!! Your all so lovely!! I shall keep you all updated on the weekends events :)))) xoxo
