Temp Chart after MC

So I started temping right after and well FF keeps changing my ovulation day from CD 16 to CD 19 and then back again and then now back to CD 19 again. I had extreme ovulation pains around CD 16 but I remember feeling them again around CD 19.

So now My question is could two ovulation appear on the temp chart? Or is it just that I didn't ovulate at all... or anyone have an idea?

I'm just super confused. My chart is in my sig.

If anyone had something like this happen please help me I have no idea what FF is doing.

Hi velathria,

Looking at your chart, I'm not 100% sure you've ovulated. There's no sustained temp rise. FF has only give you dashed crosshairs, so it's not a done deal. Maybe you O'd on CD 13 but your temps aren't particularly high and you're only tracking one thing, your temps. You can't O twice in one cycle.

You can see my chart in my sig. FF is giving me dashed cross hairs too but I know I haven't ovulated. My temp hasn't actually risen and my sleep was interrupted last night. Plus it'll probably drop again in the morning and
My CM was creamy.

I'm thinking I'm going to be having an anovulatory cycle this month.

OH ok but I had ovulation like cramps on CD 14... so could my body have just tried ovulating? Alright then seems like my body isn't back to normal yet.

Hopefully AF will come soon then so I can hopefully ovulate after then. I think I'll try doing opk's around ovulation time.

It seems like our bodies tried to go back to normal but the eggs were saying no.

FF moved my crosshairs again. I have no idea what's going on!

Hi - can I ask is it common not to ovulate straight after a m/c?

I've only just had a -ive HPT, 2.5 weeks after my m/c at 10 weeks, but I had prolonged bleeding for about 3 weeks until I had to have medical management on the 20/21 July.

Would I count the start of my bleeding as CD1 or when I actually passed everything on the 21 July? I had put CD1 as when I first started bleeding but my chart is all over the place

OR should I wait until I have AF first??

Okay, so I did an experiment and removed the data which showed the prolonged 3 weeks bleeding before I actually physically miscarried and FF has updated by putting in cross-hairs now saying I have ovulated which actually looks correct so I might just leave it as that for now... It may just be me being optimistic but I'm fine with that!!

I think for those who MC early and naturally, things usually go back to normal or maybe a little off straight away. I O'd a week later than usual. But later MCs or with a D&C, things can be off for a few cycles.

First day of bleeding is considered CD1. Good luck!

Thanks Sarah. I thought the first day of bleeding was CD1 too but I don't think I'm going to change it all back again on FF - 4/5 weeks of mostly heavy bleeding was enough for me. Hopefully AF will arrive next week as scheduled and then my cycles will be back on track.

usually it is first day of bleeding CD 1 but if it makes you feel any better

so i know now for sure that i ovulated on CD 16 because i just got my AF right on time today. So looks like everything is back to normal here. I do know that temps can go crazy a bit after an MC so CH jumping around a bit can happen after our temps going up and down like crazy. So i think it'll show you later on what your actually O day was. ^^

Sorry to hear you're out Velathria but you weren't trying last cycle were you? Great that everything is back to 'normal' and you can start trying again.

Bumbleberry, it probably doesn't matter too much. Hopefully this is either your month or AF arrives ASAP and you can get back to starting again!

yeah its fine. actually for the first time again that i was hoping my period is on time
this month we are more NTNP...so we'll see. but thanks lately totally forgetting to temp. hopefully i can still monitor my O day. going to use OPK's again. So we'll see how that goes. ^^

Good luck with that. I don't think I could go without temping. My O seems to be all over the place and last cycle my CM didn't line up with the temp rise. Plus OPKs never work for me. AF arrived today, so I guess I lucked out with the 'more fertile after a MC' idea.
