Temp shift guarantee egg released?

Does a temp rise 100% confirm that an egg has been released?? or could our body prepare and have a temp shift but not release an egg??

I had ovulation pain, ewcm and a temp rise. I know our body can gear up to ovulate but then not release an egg and we would not have a temp shift if this was the case???

Im wondering the same thing, I got my surge on opk 2 nights ago, i think my surge is going down now and I got a huge temp rise this morning, Not sure what to think, Other ladies have told me to wait at least 2 more temp rises to confirm that an egg has been released...??
I dont understand temping, as this is my first month experimenting temps,

I hope we get some answers soon

Hi Me too, im pretty sure my temp will be up tomorrow and i will get my cross hairs! But does that still guarantee an egg was released hhhmmmm?? Im a little confused!
