Hi everyone,
Just wanted a bit of advice.
I suffered a mmc in December and have had 2 normal cycles since. However, I'm experiencing some discomfort in what feels like my left ovary. It feels very much like someone is poking me on the left side. When I had my scan where they identified my mc, they told me that the successful egg had come from the right side, so it's not that.
Also when OH and I :sex: it feels much more tender in there (sorry). Not painful but tender. Is this normal? I had drugs to open my cervix before EPRC and haven't yet had any kids, so I don't know if this is normal.
Help!!!

Thanks for listening

Hun, not too sure about the pain in your left side, would be worth getting it checked out, even if just for your own piece of mind, I do occasionally get pains in one side and it can even be painful when I walk, I am prone to cysts on my ovary and quite common for me to get these each month but the doc says it is nothing to be concerned about. It could be something like that.

With feeling tender, I have 2 girls and have had several D&c's now and also find it tender there the first few times but it does ease. They've opened your cervix up and scraped etc (I don't like to think about in too much detail) - I shouldn't think it's the gentlest of things they do as they wouldn't put you under otherwise and although you feel ok outside you don't often give much thought to whats happened inside. You could have possibly bruised which is making it hurt. If not already then I would perhaps try a few more times and if it persists definately get it checked out. I tell OH to go very slow and gentle (TMI Sorry) to start with and that does break you in if thats the right word!

Take care and hope all is ok for you.

hi hun i only get pain like you describe when i ovulate, if your worried you should go see your dr.
xx

Hi orange hunni.

I have also had what you have been describing.

I had my D+C on 12th Jan and it is only this past week or so i have BD without feeling very uncomfortable. I have also felt stabbing like pains from my right ovary. I put this down to ovulation. It was only last week (Wk 5 after D+C) It has since stopped and this week i have been fine.

Still no sign of AF and i found out there were no heartbeats on Christmas eve, followedby two further confirmation scansso to speak. Maybe with me havig twins everything took longer to go back to normal. Never got my BFN and stopped bleeding until Friday 30th Jan!

PM me if you need to talk.

Vik

Thanks girls. Have decided I actually might be ovulating incredibly early. Got the Cm to prove it (sorry tmi). It's not very painful and not the whole time. I guess my body's just getting back to normal.

Could it be ovulation pains?? Just curious.. before my mmc.. i would get pains around the time of ovulation. Might be worth getting it checked out though.
