I keep having awful nightmares.

Last night, I had a dream that my husband and i were fighting on a break up level over his older kids (my step kids). Because we were fighting, we weren't paying attention to our toddler who fell down the stairs and got hurt very badly. Seeing him hurt in my dream woke me up screaming.

I keep having strange dreams like this, that wake me up terrified. Last night was so bad for some reason, I had to get up and vomit.

*sigh* I dunno if it is the HG causing all this or pregnancy in general or nerves. The big kids went back to AZ on Tuesday and won't be back so fighting over them is pretty much over now. Since they are gone, they are less likely to try to instigate disruption.

But geez louise, I need a break and a good night's sleep.

Taking any new supplements? I find if I take Melatonin to sleep, I have the craziest, most vivid dreams. Also stress and anxiety causes some pretty intense dreams. Maybe try some herbal tea or a babble bath before bed and see if the extra relaxation helps :)

I think vivid dreams are normal in pregnancy. Just wait for the sexy ones... Xx

I've been having nightmares to. The other night I had a dream about vampires and zombies taking over the world LOL. I've also had a few dreams of my daughters projectile vomiting ( I have a phobia of vomit), dreams of me wr3cking my car while my babies are with me :(, and when I took a nap earlier, I had a dream of a tornado coming towards me while I was out jogging with my youngest. I picked her up and ran to this place that was a cult and they wouldn't let us take cover. I woke up sweating. I don't remember having nightmares with my other pregnancies, I had "wet" dreams during those lol

YES.... nightmares. Weird ones too! My first weird one was also zombie related. A creepy old lady with a bowl-cut fell on the ground and started crawling toward me and a group of random people. She got up to one person and grabbed their ankle and started eating their toes!!!!
I had one about a tornado and I was trying to get my husband and pets into the basement but we only saved one cat (the mean one!). We huddled into a corner and I could hear and feel everything as it started destroying our house but then I woke up. AND last night I too had a husband divorce one- he was driving and not paying attention and I was yelling at him because he was about to crash over and over- then he got all jerky and told me "I don't find your face or eyebrows appealing, and you're fat." LOL (I can laugh now)

EDIT; HOLY COW AMA...JUST SAW YOUR POST!!!!! That is WEIRD!!!!
(AND I HAVE A VOMIT PHOBIA!!!!!)

Wth we both had zombie and tornado dreams LOL. .. My 3 girls are ALL projectile vomiters. Once, I know this sounds gross, my my ex husband measured my oldest and she puked 8 feet!! When a virus hits my house omgah I get scared and cry lmao

I'd say vivid dreams are all part of pregnancy. I've had some crazy ones in the past and still getting them now. Although they are nice dreams nice. I woke with my phone in my hand the other night texting family telling them Id had my scan and it as a baby girl lol.

Crazy dreams aren't always just a pregnancy thing... For me my postpartum dreams were worse after my son was born. I'll never forget the worst one. I was strapped to a chair unable to move and some person all dressed in black and had his face covered was holding my brand new baby with a bottle filled with extremely acidic fluid offering it to my hungry baby. I woke up screaming my ass off! My husband came up swinging because he thought I was being attacked or murdered. It's insane what hormones rising or in my case falling at the time can do to a momma. Hold strong hun :) *hugs*

I dreamt the other day that my little sister stole my husband. Smh. I think all of the hormones play on our mind and insecurities and it really sucks. However, with my first pregnancy I had quite the vivid..erm.. good dream, where I woke up because I, well.. we'll just say I had the equivelent of a wet dream. ROFL.

It's not all bad, at least. Just try to think happy or naughty thoughts before bed. It seems to help me a lot.

All throughout my first tri I had nightmares about my husband cheating on me, or just plain not loving me and the complete opposite it true, he'd never do anything like that and loves me so much, in real life I'd never even think that he could or would do something like that, I don't know what those dreams were about. I just chalked it up to taking promethazine for nausea and the "candy coated dreams" I get when taking it. Then the bad dreams stopped for a while. Now at 19 weeks I'm having nightmares again, about losing my baby, not her dying but being taken away from us. I had a dream the other night that she was taken away at birth and I finally got to see her again at 16 years of age, she was all grown up and I'd missed it. I woke up so sad I had to lay there for awhile and calm down. Lately I've been dreading bedtime because of the dreams. It's just hormones I guess, I don't know.
