Ive been spending a fortune on LO's clothes and really don't wanna do it again as he is growing sooo fast. Have seen some nice clothes in Tesco and just wanted to know the quality.

Do you think they wash well and what do you think about the vests and babygrows. Ive had next/mothercare and they shrink anyway. Or maybe its just me lol. I found Mothercare to have the best vests and Next to have the best babygrows.

Ill be :happydance: if Tesco are good cause will save me a fortune!

I find them really good, I haven't brought any for a few months though.
So they may of changed xx

Sorry it's not much help

everything i have got for both LO & myself have been good...
shes had sleepsuits, vests, jumpers, tshirts, dresses, skirts, tights..
you name it shes had it.. lol
xx

I LOVE tesco clothing for babies/kids! Also Sainsburys is a winner, i find sainsburys close to Marks and Spencer design/quality wise.
We bought lots of tops/jeans for Jayden earlier this year from Tesco and they still fit him now, we usually wash at 40degrees if that helps lol. xx

no idea as they never seem to have lo size...! i found boots best for vests and sleepsuits and got some really cheap just before Christmas...

Everything I've got from there for bobby has been good!

I had a lot of my 0-3 things from Tesco and found them to be good
I don't have a tumble dryer so all my stuff gets washed at 30 degrees then dried on the radiator and i didnt notice any/much shrinkage.
I tend to get most of Adrian's clothes from Sainsburys now though, nice soft material and still good value.
:)

I love tesco clothes for babies! Yesterday I went in there to get food and came out with five vests, one pair of trousers and three tops for 11.50 - bargain an all nice stuff too! I try and combine the basics like vests from tesco with jeans and tops. The same vests are £13 in mothercare and £7 in tesco. I have quite a bit from there an it looks good and washes well.

Blimey I sound like an advert.... Can you tell I recommend it?!

Have a lot of tesco stuff and it wears well - I wash them nearly every day so far : / the sleepsuits come up quite long too.

Hi Hun, my mum worksin a nursery, and they wash the clothes if there's been a wee accident, (everyday :haha:) and she says she likes sainsburys, tesco and Asdas for washing, they seem to hold up well! :) I like the stuff for my lo too.

i work for tesco and i can't stand their baby clothes! lol. even with my staff discount i jus don't bother any longer because they never seemto wash well, the sizings are just screwy and everything feels like paper, it's not soft at all. the only supermarket i like for clothes is sainsburys.

I prefer ASDAs baby clothes to Tesco, nicer quality and style. Think the babygros are just the same though. ASDAs sleeping bags are fab too. Best babygros I've had by far though are Next ones.

I think there stuff is pretty good quality, it certainly does them for the very short time that they are in them! This week Ive bought loads of little tops and trousers for £2 or £3 in the sale...although saying that you can get things just as cheap in the next sales too x

I love tesco stuff my 6 year old had mostly tesco when she was small & even now she wears a lot from there (including school uniform) nearly everything we have for baby is tesco too

I find the waist bands on Tesco clothes are huge on my babies. Lovely stuff butnot a great fit. I swear by George at Asda, great fit and great quality

Ahh this, the jeans are very generous, but then again it works well with us as Jayden is quite a big toddler/baby, ours have all been adjustable though so lasted him well from 5 months - 16 months and still fit (he went into 12-18 clothing at 5 months lol)

Yes next babygro's wash and dry really well but they can be a bit pricey. I got some sainsbury's ones in the summer sale and they are fab. and i got 3 for £5. Not keen on asda vests, they seem to shrink really quickly! Mothercare vests are good though and you get a nice big pack. I got a pack of 7 for £6

can you tell i like a bargain?

Tesco and ASDA. I am obsessed with Asda clothes they are soooo nice!

I think Tesco stuff is fine, I've never had any problems. Same goes for Asda. I find sainsburys to be the best quality though there stuff comes up quite long - great for long babies and you can always turn up cuffs.

I've actually had most problems with Next, although the clothes are normally good quality I've had some tights that bobbled after one wash and the sleepsuit cuffs seem quite tight.

I've never had problems with shrinkage anywhere - what wash are you using? We do clothes on a 40 wash and hang to dry usually. If something gets poop on then I do it at 50 and cross my fingers!
