tesco soy - help with actual soy content?

I got some tesco soy isoflavones, but I am confused about how much soy is actually in the pills!

It recommends 1 capsule per day.

There is a table that says
ingredients per capsule = soy isoflavones
typical weight per capsule = 40mg

BUT in the ingredients part it says:
Soya Isoflavone Compound (containing 10% soya isoflavones)

??

I wanted to take 80mg, 120mg, 120mg, 120mg, 120mg.... but not sure how many pills I need to take!!

You should take it as per capsule weight instead of per amount of soy in each capsule. If you want to take those amounts you should take; 2, 3, 3, 3, 3 capsules.

I've used soy before and with success so I hope it'll work for you too.

don't worry pinky!! You can use it both ways. I used it to speed it up as my cycles were and are too long. Others just use it to improve egg quality to improve their chances.

My last full AF was 9th Nov and then i was brown spotting on 18th Dec for 7 days and was thinking i would Ov around this weekend and suddenly at 1 min to midnight i started brown spotted again

I had 2 blood tests checking for HCG and other things and my doc told me that i was prob having an early m/c or ectopic - ive got a pelvic ultrasound scan on 7th jan as i keep feeling sick, got bloated and tender stomach and niggling cramps which ive had now for about 5 weeks

i was also rushed to hospital on xmas eve night as i was in agony with my stomach and they did more blood tests - all normal

So sorry you are going through that hun! Our bodies are very confusing at times.

You need to wait until your next proper af if you want to take soy as it's only at the beginning of the cycle and not after.

Check the soy thread in the ttc buddies if you want to get more info and support. It's called "Let's welcome soy to this cycle......."
