test result back from NT scan.. high risk

The lady from the antenatal place rang and said my results is high risk for downs syndrome, the fluid at the back of the baby neck is perfect it's my blood that changed it to just high risk, she said it can come out normal, I had high hopes it will come back normal from the fluids, how can my blood change it to high it's confusing, I know I shouldn't have got it done as I will be worrying.

Sorry I am not able to offer any help but I am keen to know answers.

I had my 12 week scan on Monday & too opted for the NT test (blood & fluid on the back of babies neck). I did a bit of research & found out that the back of my babies neck was fine 1.3mm. I then came across your post & now am worrying too in case I get the call to say my bloods make me high risk.

When are you going back in to talk about things surely they haven't just left it as your high risk, end of?

That's okay, I hope it all comes out fine for you keep me updated, I read that babies with low flquid back of the neck but the bloods high comes back normal but, who knows, I keep you updated as I'm going for an amino on the 20th, I heard the lady that's performing it she was good and do about 4 of these a week so I'm not to worried about the risks, it's just the dreaded wait as . Have to wait up to 3 weeks for result. Good luck with yours
