Testing: how soon and how often?

Okay fellow TTC #1 ladies! Just curious, because I am the world's most impatient person...do you test before your AF is due, or do you wait first to see if it's late? And if you test before, how soon and how often? I hate waiting even a day after AF is due, so I feel a bit fanatical. Ugh. Anyone else like this?

me i test 7 days before af i 2 am very impatient but if u test early use a good test that measures very little hcg like frer ect
