Tests getting lighter? Going mad, please look. *updated pg.2*

I am an idiot, I know I am. I have kept doing tests and have also been opening my clear blue digis after finding a thing online that tells you what the lines inside mean. I am officially crazy...

So, I did a CB digi yesterday afternoon and one again his morning and the. Ones inside had got lighter this morning with FMU. I then squeezed out another wee so I could do a cheapy test and that seems lighter too, although I think the control line also looks darker and obviously these tests are a bit rubbish anyway.

By when I think I ovulated I am 17 days PO, but I could be 18.

Is the line in the last photo lighter? It's hard to tell as the lighting is different. I want people to please be honest, but I do have a history of miscarriage, although when I had my last early miscarriage I didn't even get a BFP until I would have been 5 weeks, this time I got a digi BFPO at 10 days PO.

They have got lighter, but honestly I wouldn't worry about it, could just be that you hadn't held your wee as long. I've actually find I get better tests if I do it in the afternoon (after holding for 3/4 hours) instead of FMU

I should listen to my own advice though cause I took an FRER this morning and didn't think it had gotten dark enough

Thanks. I don't have a good feeling tbh. No cramping today so far either.

However, I am prone to worrying due to my history and that I am so high risk.

I don't know your history hun, but try not to focus on the fact that you have a bad feeling. First tri is horrid and I think we all have that bad feeling for the most part of it I know I do, and I did with Coralie and she's fine. I'm sorry that probably sounds really ignorant, but i'm sure you know what i'm trying to say. I'm certainly not trying to belittle your nerves.

It's not helpful, and I hate it, but I am having to keep telling myself what will be will be. I really hate the saying as I am a complete control freak but it's true. I really hope this is meant to be for both of us

I have a history of miscarriages and chemical pregnancies, however with this pregnancy 10weeks now!) I had exactly the same thing happen to me! I found my FMU lines were sooo much lighter then SMU or afternoon wee, I have no idea why, my only thoughts were that because they were Internet cheapies they were exactly that... Cheap!!! Different levels of dye etc..etc... but everything is currently perfect with this pregnancy. I wouldn't take the digis apart though, when I got my 3+ come up instantly I took it apart and all of the lines were lighter than on the 2-3 weeks test - so I guess they are right that you can't read them with eyes and they need to be read the by the wizardry pokery in the test!!! I really wouldn't worry about those tests, the lines are great!!!

Jamandspoon, thank you, I did wonder if it could be to do with FMU, I was absolutely desperate for a wee when I do did the digi and had just had a wee when I did the cheapy, so although I shouldn't I will try again this afternoon. Can I also ask if you don't mind me asking, the only time I kept testing during a miscarriage, I never got a 3+ on a digi, has that been the same for you?

I am on aspirin and heparin, and taking pregnancy vits, so there's nothing more I can do really except wait, but boy ill be so much happier I and when I have that early scan in a couple of weeks!

as the pregnancy progresses you produce so much hcg that the tests struggle to read it so they become lighter, hun if i was you i would lock the tests away and keep away from them your only going to stress yourself out, just relax hun xxxx

With my mcs last year I was 7 weeks, 7+6 and 9 weeks and had got a very late 3+on my digis, with any of the chemicals never got anywhere near a 3+! Seriously those lines look great, I really wouldn't compare day to day on those and you will drive yourself mad! In the beginning if this pregnancy I decided to set myself little milestones to pass, each day I was still pregnant was an achievement! I had to stop myself testing so that I didn't drive myself too bonkers, however I still went to Dr and demanded a blood test because the digi didn't hit 3+on the exact day I wanted it... Had my beta tested same day and it was 2,500 and the digi was still showing 2-3, so it obviously takes a few days for increasing levels to hit your wee out of your blood stream...if you need to talk just drop me a pm

I think maybe my HCG levels are higher in the afternoons. I know they're not supposed to be, but I feel nauseous in the afternoons.

I've done another test too and it's darker again, so I'm going to throw the rest of the tests away, although I may do a digi in a few days.
