I know that tetracycline can affect unborn babies, so when my DH was prescribed a 3 month course of it for acne last week I asked if he had asked if it would affect sperm, he hadn't asked.
Cue a burst of googling and we have found several medical sites stating it, and a list of other antibiotics, does affect sperm quality.
He is due to have a sperm analysis fine next week so I'm glad we discovered this before he started taking them.
I just wanted to post this info just in case other partners and husband of the ladies using this forum are unaware.
It is sometimes prescribed long term for bacterial infections.
Now is the job of trying to find a more sperm friendly alternative.
