After two years i finally told my dad were trying for kids.
He knew about the lap i had and bloods tests but wasnt aware what they were for.
He was asking today more about them and i couldnt explain without saying fully its to do with ttc so i told him.
He reacted much differently to how i thought, but put simply he wants more grandkids lol.

you must feel so good now...good for you:)

I bet that was quite a load off. Isn't it wonderful to have support!!

dads....sometimes those conversations can be awkward in your mind, but once they happen the bond becomes closer.

:happydance: That is wonderful! Im glad your dad is suportave :)

:hugs: i know how hard that must have been for you hun, well done :D:D glad he is happy

Aw, that's so sweet that you shared that with us too as it's such a personal thing. I felt awkward and shy telling my Dad too, but he's such an important part of my life, I just needed to tell him. It felt 'something' but I don't have the words to describe how it felt, but I'm glad I did. My Dad was like a little boy when I told him, he fancies more grandkids too. :)

Well done AG, I am glad that he was supportive.

xxx

thats great news hun it feels so much better to share these things with family and what great support he wil be x

I bet that's a relief for you. :hugs: Glad your conversation went well.

I am glad that he took it better than you thought he would. I sometimes feel like I can't tell my family, so I am really veg about it...they don't seem to think us having babies is a good idea for some weird reason....but DH's side of the family always is asking about it, which makes me happy that they want it for us.

Aww hun that must have been hard for you in a way

:hugs:
