So I was sooooooooooooooooooooo fr!cken p!ssed off last week, I wet to the Doctors and told him I was slowly going insane and asked while i was waiting for my appt in Dec whether there was anything else he could do to help me.

He said not really and I got upset and said fine, but I home that when I see the FS they don't tell me things I have to do, that I could do before the appointment to move things forward and he said the only other thing is for my OH to have SA but that would need to be ordered by the FS as it is not a health need/risk from a general GP's point of view and he looked at me and said, hoever, miss short, if you were to tell me that your OH is concerned he may have other "problems" then he could request one to find out what was going on.

Really wasn't sure what he was implying 'cos I was still mad LOL! and he said, between these 4 walls if you thought he might be carrying an std and he wanted it checked to be on the safe side, then I could suggest an SA to accompany the tests for anything untoward - kill 2 birds with one stone so to speak.

Still I was unsure and asked what on earth made him think he might have an std, until the penny dropped! bless him!

Think he's coming round to my way of thinking, so SA appt next week to send the sample and a couple of weeks maybe sooner for results!

I'm so glad I kicked up a fuss the first time around.

Whoooooop whooooooop.

Also ordered a new batch of OPK last night so should have those tomorrow currently CD 12, 12 to go before estimated O.

 - have you decided what STD your DH is going to have? Very amusing!

Glad you got your tests done - any idea with FS will say in your December appt?

They may want to do their own SA chick - we got told by the FS not to carry out any other SA tests as they would do their own and they are more thorough?? :hugs:

i know doc said they would , but at least we can get an idea off doc first too....

yeah nothing wrong with being armed with a whole bunch of information! I hope his results are nice and healthy x

Glad you are moving forward in the right direction ...

x

Good for you!
I have no idea why it is all so protracted! Surely it would HELP the consultants, if all necessary tests were done BEFORE your appt! But hey dont get me started on the NHS!!
LOL
Good luck
Tracy x
