Hello!! can I join!

For ages I've wanted to make a memory quilt for Ellie but haven't had the guts to just go ahead and do it! so I've been praticising my sewing and at 11 o'clock last night had a random urge to cut up all her babygrows I'd been saving! lol

So I finished it today!

In all honesty I have rushed it! I was too eager to take my time and make it perfect, I just wanted to see the finished product as quickly as possible and so there are quite a few flaws and faults in it! I didn't do the whole ironing business neither so that made life quite difficult lol.. Either way I am proud that i've made it for Ellie!!

Yeah it was all Ellie's babygrows/vests which I saved - I'm just starting to make a 'matching' bear lol - don't really have much hope for it as I've never made anything like it before - if it turns out ok I'll post a picture

It's dead simple to make hun...just like a taggy just in a different form and filled with toy filling

I have a sewing machine so all you really do is cut out the pieces, pin them together then stick them under the foot and press on the pedal.

If I had to hand sew it would be a whole different story!
