The dramatic arrival of Indigo - a homebirth story

Lol I was nearly in tears that he met her while I was sat on the bog, nude, baby at the breast and forceps at the umbilical cord hanging out of me!

Thanks to everyone who has said nice things about her name. :) We chose it when we were team yellow with Byron and have been hanging on to it ever since! May is my own middle name, both after my late Godmother who was a mother to my mum and a truly remarkable woman. I was never sure if people would like Indigo as a name, not that it matters as it is right for our girl, but it's still nice that people don't think us too odd!

Great job, Mama! <3
