I know a lot of you have worries of 'jinxing' things by buying bits, but this is a totally jinx free thread. No judgement, no pressure, just a place where you can indulge and divuldge anything you've seen that you eventually want.

Lets have a little space where we can just enjoy the idea without feeling guilty :)

Anyone else got any ideas of what they want yet, or got anything squirreled away?

I brought a cute pram suit when we first started ttc....... 20 months later it's in the attic. Hopefully we will be able to use it one day.
Have you got anything?
xx

I think I still have (buried in an old suitcase in the bottom of the wardrobe) a snowsuit, a little vest, a cardi, a sleepsuit (classic winnie the pooh), little pair of jeans, a little hat and mittens to match, a blanket I had as a baby, a shawl, my old mobile from being a baby, and a pregnancy journal.

But I do have a fairly clear idea of the big things I'd want as well! To me, its the only way I've found of keeping my dream alive, ya know?

I've kept all my old toys, and we have a shop selling clothes and stuff, including baby clothes (of a gothic persuasion lol, but baby clothes none the less!) so I have adorable, non-conformist babygros, t-shirts and socks on tap when it happens - so far I'm just ogling them on the wall but I have it all planned out...

Furniturewise I'm sort of guessing we'll just take whatever anyone else is giving away - beggars can't be choosers :(

oh god, freecycle is my bane some days, no way DH would let me have anymore stuff, even if its free!

I'm lucky that way I guess - we have a big loft to store things in if need be, and I think if I suddenly announced that I'd seen the perfect crib/carseat/nursery whatever on freecycle (or even somewhere that actually costs money) and we HAD to go get it, he'd just look at me as if I was completely mental and then go and look up the directions for how to get there

awwww :)

I actually had my ideal pram at one point (graco excursion) which I got from the tip for £5, but gave it away in a temper tantrum where I decided there was no point keeping any baby stuff lol
