Sometimes he does, other times I'm up for an hour while he farts about!
He will take a dummy tho, if only his jerky little newborn hands would stop knocking it out of his mouth!!
We have an ipad2, is the 3 a lot better/different?

I haven't a bloody clue Michelle, I just know it only came out yesterday.
Hope he starts settling straight away after a Feed for you. I remember when Rory was a newborn I used to have to stay up with him for about 20mins with him upright because of his wind, if I put him down he would just grunt and disturb me anyway, so I just thought I might as well keep holding him and then put him down so we were both settled. Is this the kind if thing Hayden is suffering with?

That's exactly it Fabby! Sometimes he'll sleep in my arms straight after and will be fine if I pop him down and he'll stay asleep, other times he just grunts and snorts and keeps me (not Malc!!) awake!
I love our/MY iPad!

I found if I didn't keep him on me for that 20 mins he would be grunting until his next feed but by keeping him upright for a little bit REALLY helped and wouldn't grunt when I put him down. It only lasted until he was 6 weeks old so hold on in there xx

Thing is, he clearly thinks he is old enough to hold his head up and he just keeps trying and looks a right little bobble head!

Awww bless him. Rory had very good head control very early too. Just let him be. Plenty of time on his tummy if he wants to lift his head and nose x

Michelle I can understand why you'd want to get your own little routine sorted. Arch used to struggle with his wind too. It'd take us as long again to wind him as it had for him to drink his bottle.

Aww cutie Hayden He will be a giant by the time I get to see him! Try leg cycling for wind, Holly had ridiculous wind due to her reflux and it seemed to help a bit. Also, if you sit them upright, and twist their upper body from side to side, it works much better than rubbing or patting.

I dunno if Holly is reacting to milk or her molars coming through. She's been inconsolable for a couple of nights now, but thankfully STTN after that.

Off to do a food shop in a mo. Busy busy this week. Want to do lots of cleaning before I go back to work and also I have my first exam for my course on Saturday so need to revise! AM's at nursery 4 hours tomorrow and Fri and 7 hours on Wed so hopefully get some bits done then!

Everyone's babies seem to be teething with molars. I swear AM's going to have 7 teeth forever! I can't see any sign of any others making an appearance, although her cheeks are constantly rosy!
