Glad you're feeling better kimmy.
Can someone tell my child 5:30 is not morning?! i wouldnt min if she'd slept from 8pm, but sh was up at 10:30, 12:30, 3:30, 4:30, then up for the day a 5:30, i tried to get her back to sleep til 6:45 but then gave up. I think she's feeling better now, so I'm going to stop feeding her at night, I can handle this lack of sleep anymore.
I'm getting her weighed today! it's a beautiful day here.

Lettuce, that's rough. Stopping feeding might be a good idea, I think when they're at that age it's habit rather than necessity. Holly still does it sometimes when she can't get back to sleep.

Yeah, I didn't want to do it while she was unwell, but she's getting better so I'll have the cup of water tonight, and go for it.... Dreading it.
Jen learned to remove her nappy... naked baby chasing the cats!

I think not feeding at night, at least for a trial run is a good idea. They do say that at that age they don't 'usually' need food during the night as they should be getting enough during the day (obviously there are exceptions) but quite often it's habit. Have you dramatically reduced feeds during the day Lettuce now that she's on solids?

Not sure what to do today. It's sunny outside but a bit chilly. Although I just went out on the balcony to put something in the bin and AM followed me in her PJ top with no bottoms and was running about shouting, bet passers by where thinking what a mean mummy letting her out hardly dressed!!

Ha blondey, it's naked baby day!
Yes, she reduced her feeds herself, now she get one in the morning, one about midmorning, one in the afternoon, sometimes two at the moment as she hasnt been well, then her nighttime feed.

naked baby day. My baby is not naked, just packed him off with grandma and grandad for the day.
I take it Jen doesn't have a dummy Lettuce? To be honest, arch is too reliant on his now but it does make a good comforter for when he's going to sleep. Have you browsed amazon for any books on the subject? My friends little girl was similar to Jen and she used a book and she now STTN. Will message her for the title for you.

I've just got rory dressed and now waiting for my nan come over cus she is taking him out on a big long walk for me so I can get packed and get ready for our photo shoot this afternoon.

OOo nakey babies! Daisy wouldn't let me put her nappy back on this morning, I'd get one tab stuck and she'd sit up and try to crawl off and refuse to let me do the other tab

My back has been killing me for days, last night it got worse and any movement killed, so what happened? Every time Doo woke in the night for her dummy, it was me who had to get up and bend over her cot to try and find the dummy I pulled my back too when I was trying to reach under her cot to get the dummy, OH was nicely tucked up in bed, he'd woken just not got up to help even though I was saying "ow shit shit".

Think we're going to go into Cambridge today, going to pop to Primarni to get some cheap t shirts that fit and maybe get Doo some bits....

Thanks kimmy, I'm just so worried about going back to work this tired. I know it sounds dramatic, but I'm going back in charge of a unit, if anything happens it's my responsibility, and if I cock up, I could kill someone... :worried: plus, I'm the one patients need to speak to. Fun fun fun!
She never took to a dummy, I did try tho! I even hoped she'd find her thumb for a while...
Finally got her down for a nap, but instead of doing housework, I'm resting. I don't care, I'm too tired!

Rorys been out with my nan for 2 hours and I've done 2 washes, 3rd one in now, Hung out washing, packed what I can for the weekend, ironed all clothes for weekend, got ready and put make up on and done my hair and made rory a sausage dinner. Surprising how much you can do whilst no troublesome toddler is around! And its all tidy here too. Rory had 30 minute quick snooze whilst out too so the new buggy must be comfy! Now I need try get him have a nap before photoshoot :doh:

Were on our way to Wales now!! Dh finished work early and managed to rearrange the shoot to Monday afternoon instead so we could make the most of the weekend and this gorgeous weather and head there now

Just put madam down for a nap. Been at my mums for a few hours.

Madam is getting so darn cute and clever. If you tell her to sit down she does it. And if you give her a tissue and tell her to blow her nose she puts it up to her face and goes 'brrrrrrrr' I have no idea where she learnt that from!! I guess that's it, she is going to be learning something new all the time now what with being at nursery!!

Was a bit confused when I read nats reply, I was like "who, me?"
Got Jen weighed today, she's only 18lbs 5.5oz. Only put on 3.5oz in 2 mnths but they said she was ok, just off her line, and that it's prob cos shes so active!
She walked with her walker today, totally unaided! Just crawled over to it, stood up, held on and walked about 5 steps, ti she got distracted by a bit of dust.
AM is so sweet! I love this learning stage!
Weather should be good for the weekend! Hurrah! It's SILs birthday on sat.

As for the feeding, I dunno whether to go cold turkey, or do what I did last time and only feed the once, like feed at bedtime, if she wakes in the next few hours, don't feed but say it's like 3am, give a feed. Hmmm, we'll see how bad it is...

I'm setting myself up for a bad night you know, with Rory been in a different bed and different place. I'm sure I felt his 4th mole earlier too, he wouldn't let me feel again. If it is, then that would be his 4th tooth in 7 days!!!!!!!! Is that some kind of record?
