The losers club

Tried to put Jen down awake... Fail.
Oh nats, I know it must be hard for him too, but that's just no good! :nope:
I can't believe 10.5 months is up already, so strange.
Tomorrow is baby club and lunch with my mate and her wee one.
Tuesday got ounc n rhyme and then a bing lunch with mil and buying her a carseat. Then she's going to watch Jen for the afternoon while I get stuff sorted, bra fitting, uniforms organised etc.
Wednesday is free so far. Might go swimming if Jen is better.
Thursday bounce n rhyme, and mil will watch Jen till I get some cooking done.
Friday... Hmm. Better think of something fun! :haha: maybe the Playrooms. :) DH said we should go out for dinner or something.
Emmy, I do toy rotation, Jen doesn't have a lot either. Has Doo got a treasure basket? That's Jens favourite thing! :)
Go to sleep Holly! Lucky you eve, wha you gonna do with yourself?
Do you think w get lurkers cos they think it's a weight loss thread? :)

Fabby, I go back 3 days, mon, tues and Fridays. So not too bad.

Fabby, it was £1800 new but we got it for £1600 ex display and I got him to chuck in the special screws for the wall bracket so we could use our bracket and not buy a new one! We did have a 50" plasma but our electric bills were £500+ a quarter and our new set up only uses 1/6 of the electric so we should see a saving, that's how we justified buying it! ;)

Sounds like a fun week Lettuce!

:haha: maybe... never thought of that!

K goes to sleep by 8pm every night, but usually it's around 6:30-7pm as she doesn't nap during the day anymore. If she ends up falling asleep, she is up until 9-10pm and my evenings are gone, so I shall keep busy all day to have a nice, early evening to myself ;)

Michelle, I didn't realize how much power plasma used...? We have LCD I think.

Morning losers! I just could not sleep last night, was wide awake from 3:30-5:30  luckily Archie gave me a lie in til almost 7:30 (I know his little body clock thinks it's 6:30 but nevermind!)
How was everyone else's nights? Ooh Lettuce, just remembered, that book is called Sleep Sense. I don't know anything about it, how it works or anything, just that it did for 3 of my friends. Maybe see if you could get a second hand copy off amazon then if you don't agree with the methods you've not lost much?
Plans for today losers? I was going to do the big shop before playgroup but haven't time now we've had a lie in. So we'll go to group at 9:15-11, home for nap, lunch, shop, visit a friend, home for tea.

Morning losers!

My last day as a SAHM :-( But I did lie in till 9am and madam is still asleep! Lazy monkey!! She went to bed at 7pm!! We did have a couple of light switch incidents and when OH got up for work at 5am he could see under her door that her light was on, although she was zonked!! (it wasn't on at 10pm when I went to bed) He turned it off and when I got up at 9 this morning, guess what, the light was one!! I did like the idea of her being able to turn it on in the mornings when it was dark so she could play before we got up, now I'm wondering whether we need to move the cot away from the switch!!

No plans as yet for today. Might take her to jumping beans later or take a stroll around town. I just can't believe my 11 1/2 months or mat leave and 9 weeks of annual leave are up and that it's back to work! It's going to be like a ghost town in the station after all the redundancies!

Sorry it's not working out at your IL's Nats. Are they making comments etc to make it awkward for you? You'd think they'd do everything in their power to get you to stay so you don't leave with Maria somewhere really far!

Tele sounds fab Michelle. If I get the regular police officer job then there's a few things we might treat ourselves to, a second laptop (even though we need to replace this one first), a new tele and we'll need to get a second car again.

What time did Holster get to sleep?

They're not making comments or anything, just explained that they need a break cos its a busy work week this week.
Meeting was inconclusive. They are trying to get hold of the social worker that I tried to phone before calling them. If they can't get hold of her then they will help me but she is the one that I am supposed to deal with first. So just waiting for them to phone back later today.

Clocks changed worked out ok for me, Maria went to bed half 8 and didn't get up for the day til 7:45 so that was nice. She did end up in bed with me though from 1 o'clock onwards, and she had to be touching me to fall asleep :dohh:

Holly went to sleep at 10.15pm, woke up at 4am for an hour, then was bribed back to sleep with milk til 9am :)

Enjoy your last day Blondey.

Lettuce, go get that book from the library - free then!

Hope the new social worker manages to sort something for you Nats.

Holly spent an hour doing this yesterday :wacko:https://s1063.photobucket.com/albums/t511/heedbert/?action=view&current=SAM_1546.mp4

Haha she is so funny! Wonder if she'll teach arch how to do it?
Enjoy your last day Blondey, lovely weather for it!
Hope you manage to get hold of that woman Nats and that something can get sorted ASAP :hugs:
We managed to squeeze in the big shop then group this morning. Arch got ragged by another kid though and was heart broken

Sorry girls, I'm fine. Just not feeling very good today, so all the crap on Facebook isn't helping. I've been thinking of deactivating my account for a while now, think it would do me good. I'm sad today, with no reason to be sad. Think I need to go back to the doctors. Sigh.

:hugs: Kimmy and poor Archie! :(

Holly is so funny!

Enjoy your day Blondey!

:hugs: Kimmy. I was just about to look to catch up on what you were talking about and you're not on FB any more. Hopefully a break will do you some good. If you're feeling like you need to go back to the docs then I think that's what you should do. I think it takes a stronger person to admit they need help, even just a tiny bit, than trying to manage without.

Hope Archie is ok too Kimmy. What does ragged mean? Did you mean dragged?

Just got back from town. It's lovely out there. Madam is getting fed up being strapped in the pram if we aren't moving. So I had to keep bribing her with these giant mini cheddar type things and dried prunes while I was looking at the make up. It's 3 for 2 across make up and accessories in there if anyone's interested. Dangerous territory! But I do need new make up and I had £20 worth of vouchers, so I got a new foundation, mascara, powder, bronzer, blusher, eye shadow for £11!! (after the vouchers and 3 for 2) might go back next week and treat myself to some new make up brushes!

Lunch time now I think while madam is sleeping!

How is your dad now Lettuce? Doing anything nice for your last week off? Are you going back PT?

:hugs: kimmy

Works not so bad today got four orders so far so hopefully things are picking up!

Off to do another pic now in scbu hope they order! So wish I could share my pictures though :(

Aww Kimmy :hugs: you know we are all here for you :)
Can't believe you are back to work Blondey!
Sapphire, I love that vid, Holly is ace!
Is it hot where everyone else is? It's 20 degrees again here :)
I'm sure your pics are lovely Emmy, but it must be frustrating not being able to show them all off.
First day in my own and so far so good!
Bundled everyone into the pram at 9am and walked to Tesco back. That's about 4 miles, go me! Got a rotisserie chicken as they smelled bloody lovely and we all (inc Malc) sat outside and had chicken salad and baguettes for lunch. Ok, the house was a tip until T went for her nap but as long as everyone is fed/changed/happy then the house can just wait.
Baby H on 7oz, seems to be randomly having bigger sleeps too, had his last feed at 11:30 and is sound o in the basket in the living room. And he was only up 3-4 last night, then slept til 6:45, I feel refreshed getting so much sleep!
T is standing against everything now, it's soo cute, except when she tries it in the bath....

It was -5 here :growlmad:

The house can definitely wait! Standing up in the bath is not so cute, I agree hehe.

That's the best outlook to have on housework Michelle, sounds like you've taken to mothering two like a duck to water :)
Glad works looking up Emmy, would be great of we could see all your pics of the cute newborns too.
Ooo nice one on the new makeup blondey, I'm desperate for some. The kid at playgroup literally dragged Archie to the ground by hanging all his weight round his little neck :( I know it's all part of being a child but I hate to see him hurt as he's quite a sensitive soul and never hurts other children.
Thanks for all the love girls, I feel like a proper ding bat.
