Yeah, I've got to go see her on Friday anyway. I'm kinda hoping she'll not want tablets but think she will, especially as I've just been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and low dose antidepressants can make a huge difference. We shall see tho. I'm limited as I'm still breastfeeding.

Lettuce. You know yourself the best. Maybe a low dose antidepressant would be worth a try? I think i know how you feel wrt medication. I was adamant I wasn't going back on them (i see them as a quick fix rather than a cure) but my resolve has weakened due to the fact that this therapy doesn't seem to be working for me. I'm still waiting for my CBT referral. Do you think talking therapy along side medication would help you? Maybe talking through Jen's birth etc?
Glad you're feeling better too Michelle, I think you're doing absolutely amazing with two so young. Glad BBH is doing better on the meds too.

Glad you like the flat Nats! Are you going to get internet there? Have you managed to go back to the old flat and get your stuff? Has ex OH even asked to see Maria?

Think we are all having a PJ day here. May get dressed later and go to the garden centre as we bought some pots for the balcony and want to get some plants/flowers for them, but I am not green fingered so might have to ask for help!!

Big for Nats and Maria, it's such a shame that your ex isn't bothered hope you manage to get your stuff!

Our big plan is to buy a house! We've found one we like, just waiting for a viewing to see if it's an ok size as it's a two bed (they did have floorplans up but the link has expired ) it's in a lovely area of new builds, with two parks near it and is right off the A14 - https://www.orbithomebuyagents.co.uk/main.cfm?Type=PROPDETA&propID=2341&pcode=PE292UU

We plan on putting a 15k deposit down (got my inheritance from when my mum died), then using some money left to pay off OH's car which will save us £93 a month, perhaps pay off my barclays credit card which will save me £50 a month. We should get about £200 ctc (according to the hmrc website) a month so hopefully that will mean we have enough to live on and *maybe* enough to be able to afford things!

Thanks girls, I think just admitting it made me feel better, I'll talk to the doc and see what she suggests. I've had CBT before for anxiety and it was great. Hooe your comes through soon kimmy mental health problems suck.

What is CBT like Lettuce? I've been offered it before but always thought it was like just making yourself believe everything isn't as bad as it is and almost kidding yourself out of your depression? Or have i got it completely wrong lol?

Good plan Emmy! Hope it all works out! CBT is a bit of a weird one (I had a few sessions a few years ago) it's not for everyone but definitely worth a shot for anyone who needs a little help.
We're thinking of going away for a few days today, got an impromptu week off work so thought we'd make the most of it.
