What's the point in making the effort if you're going to be constantly rejected?

He decided he wanted his friend round instead, so I just went out to pole class, and came in and watched then play Xbox. I started on the pole in the living room out of boredom and his friend went home, and we watched Eureka and went to bed

Now he actually has another excuse not to come near me.. I'm bleeding again!
This has been going on since March! Bled for 3 weeks, stopped for a week, bled for a week, stopped for a week had a half, bled for a week, stopped for about 4 days, and now I'm bleeding again. SERIOUSLY?! I don't bleed on this pill, so something is definitely going on, but I'm being ignored.
The doctors won't do anything and first blamed it on the antibiotics for the 4 UTI's (maybe so, except the first two I have had with my pill before and they've NEVER reacted and made me bleed; the third and fourth I can't speak for as I haven't had them before now) and then they started saying "It must be your contraception, change it." Er, no. I've been on this for 4-5 years, after trying many other options and THIS one (progesterone-only pill) was one of the few I could have, and it stops me bleeding altogether so I LOVE it! The only time I bleed on it is if I miss a pill, and it's only for a few days generally (when I'm not on the pill I have heavy periods like clockwork). I tried the Implant a few years ago and just bled all the time on it so I went back on the POP, and before I tried the implant I had been on different combined pills but the docs took me off as they realised I shouldn't be on it due to a blood clot risk (due to migraines). so I'm NOT changing my contraception as the only other options left are barrier methods (which won't stop my periods, obviously! I can't deal with the pain of them again) or something like the IUS/IUD which I will not get! I LIKE THIS ONE AND IT WORKS!
I'm 2 years too young for a smear, and got "it's not a diagnostic tool, you can have one when you're 25"
The sheer amount of bleeding is making me anaemic I'm sure (I've been anaemic before and remember how it felt) but all they did was offer me iron tablets. I said "No, 'cause all you're doing is treating the symptoms and ignoring the cause. I'll STILL be bleeding when I take them. Plus you'll end up making me bleed out of another orifice as well because I have haemorrhoids that you've been ignoring since I was 20 weeks pregnant and the last thing I need is to get constipated again and have blood shooting out of there too!!"
They also said they wouldn't do anything until they tested me (a married woman) for STDs.. Sigh. So I did it anyway knowing they were clear, they've come back clear, and still aren't doing anything. It also took them 4 repeat UTI's in 2 months to send a sample to the lab to allegedly see what was causing it, and it came back with "congratulations, you have a UTI" basically
So they sent me on my merry way with nothing new, and no referral. I've made an appointment to go back (AGAIN) and see someone else due to starting bleeding again yesterday, and it's making me miserable. But everyone else keeps saying "Oh, it's one of those things". What, what of those things that isn't supposed to happen? Yeah.
(although I saw he wont come near me, despite me being like this I managed to get a quickie last night, poor guy
)

Vixie, that's terrible! I think it's a disgrace that they won't do a smear. I have had loads - I was 16 when I had my first one. I had gynae problems, was referred to an gynae and had a laparoscopy. I think you can demand a referral, keep bugging them. Something's obviously not right and they need to check it out BTW, good work on the quickie

Can you change doctors or something to get a second opinion? Or go to the emergency room and refuse to leave til they do something? Have they checked your hemoglobin levels? You are bound to be anaemic with constant blood loss like that and iron pills won't help with that kind of anaemia.
I'm almost positive I'm anaemic, but they wanted to just fob me off with iron tablets and not do a blood test. I've booked an appointment another doctor next week (I wanted an appointment with the one doctor who seemed vaguely sympathetic, but she wasn't available for a minimum of 2 weeks) and I'm going to bug them for a referral for a scan or something. I'm not going to be fobbed off with a change of contraception, I would change it if I had been on it less than a year but this has been brilliant for years so why would it suddenly change? Even after I had LO my periods came back at 6 weeks even though I was BF (probably cause of the odd bottle here and there) and I waited until they came back 'til I went on the pill and they went away immediately. I spotted once or twice when I missed a pill as normal. I thought it may have something to do with stopping BF but this started a week before I stopped.
I did have a smear when I was 17 due to random bleeding (turned out to be contraception issues) but that was with a different NHS trust. Up here they seem to not give a toss
I'm reluctant to change surgeries again because when I've changed in the past and I've been referred to the hospital no matter how many times I changed my details on the PAS system at the hospital the old GP kept getting the letters! In the end I had to change it myself when I worked for the NHS.
We'll see what happens next week I guess

I hope the other doctor will help. Just keep bugging them. Its sad that some doctors just can't be arsed I've been so lucky with my doctors here, they don't give up trying til they find the cause, no matter how many tests have to be done and how much it costs.

Aww I hope you get something sorted
My town was on the news last night.... for its shit jubilee bunting
so everyone in the east of England now knows our bunting is made from old curtains... to save hundreds of pounds 
which means theyve been able to add two days onto the festival... it's gonna be great! Lol
I also got a quickie last night, pretty much lay on the sofa and went for it and he didn't say no lol.
Had a lovely day in Lincoln yesterday, daisy had fun with her little friend and I got some human interaction in! Fuel is much cheaper there too so crammed my tank full lol.
Plans for today? We're going for a picnic with some mummies in Cambridge then meeting OH at a pub after he finishes work where there's a congrats/happy birthday/goodbye session going on for a load of people at his work.
