I've been dying of man flu, thought I was better yesterday but no it's hit back with a vengeance today OH has been making hints at the state of the house as well and gets snappy if I say well it's cause I've been ill so I made an effort today and made bottles and did a load of washing and a load of washing up.

Had a cake smash shoot yesterday then the birthday party afterwards at soft play, was good fun! Also saw one of OH's ex housemates from when he first lived in Cambridge so was nice to catch up after almost four years!

FFS Doo was tired so I put her down for a nap and after 5 measly minutes she's bloody awake! I was looking forward to window shopping online and eating a tiny cupcake from her party bag yesterday (bad mummy)

Aaah a house we love near Camb has been reduced to within our budget, it's exactly what we need BUT there's a no pets rule... now as Moo is an outdoor cat do we lie and when it comes to inspections just throw her out and hide her stuff so we can live there....?

What's the weekend plans? I'm getting rid of Jen for a couple of hours tomorrow so we can finish off the flooring etc on the flat, ready to get it valued for renting.

If we're feeling better tomorrow then we'll go to the gig that Timo is supposed to be playing in, but I doubt we'll be well enough so we'll probably lie around all weekend.

We have cricket today and BBQ tomorrow. Dh made rory play doh and got him a new pack of play sand so Rory should be kept busy tomorrow in the garden! Spent a fortune on bbq food, got the meats from the farm shop but it's really nice

Good plans Fabby. I want a garden *stamps her feet like a toddler* Although to be fair we are able to save quite a bit of money by staying in the flat at the moment, helping build our deposit so guess I should look on the bright side!!

Madam's down for a nap at the mo and OH will be leaving for work in 20 mins or some. Once madam awakes I might pop to toys r us as I have been sent a 20% voucher. And might get madam this:

It's wooden. Says from age 3 but can't see why she couldn't use it, unless when I get there I see that it's minature and is 'put in my mouth' size!

reduced to £14.99 and think I should be able to use 20% vouher on it. Plus I need to get her a new back pack for nursery.

Might also pop to a local nursery as saw on FB they have a fun day sort thing, free entry and cheap things to do like biscuit decorating, bouncey castle, etc. Might be worth a mooch around!

My parents are watching Jenny while DH and I get some serious DIY on the go. He's putting the beading on in the front room, just the hall and our bedroom to go! Shame none of our Walls are straight, it's driving him bananas! serves him right. He's great at DIY, a real perfectionist, it just takes AGES to get him going. that's been 7months since the central heating was put in. Still got to finish the flooring, redo the bathroom floor (just going to cheat and level it out and stick Lino down.) Do the door strips, paint all the woodwork (but there's not much point in doing that til we are ready to put it on the rental Market) gut the kitchen, paint it all, and repaint some furniture too.
I've tidied jennys room and put all her new clothes in the drawers, bagged up her old ones, done three washings, scrubbed the shower, and think I might fit in gutting the bathroom before I need to go get her.

I've spent most of the day in bed...did manage to go for a walk to the shop this afternoon though

I've spent the afternoon running around after Rory at the cricket club. The kid didn't stop for the whole 3 hours we were there!!!!! No surprising he went straight off to sleep when I put him in his cot earlier for bed! He couldn't even manage all his milk bless him.
I'm bloody starving! Need dh hurry up home from cricket so we can eat

Ended up puking a ton of acidic shit up, my throat has only just recovered. Not gone to work, manager is pissed but I don't care, I'm not risking puking on a newborn!!

We took Jenny out to loch Lomand today and she walked loads! we didn't even bother bringing the buggy.
Chilli for dinner and need to pack my bag for work tomorrow. The great house hunt continues, so bored with it.
Popped into baby club for the first time in ages and quickly scanned all the locked threads toddlers section is much more sedate.
