Emmy, if you're losing money surely it makes sense to quit. Do you stick to a strict budget? If you don't, start doing it and you'll be amazed at how much money you can save. I always take out a set amount of money at the start of the week (£60) and that gets me food, nappies, petrol and anything else I need. You need to shop around and hunt for bargains, but you can totally manage to not work. We pay for rent, a mortgage, 2 cars, all the bills and a bucketload of debt on DH's wage alone. I do paid surveys in the evenings/while H naps, you need to do loads of them to get any money, but it's easy money. I also ebay H's old stuff which brings in a few pennies - I got £17 for a pair of her shoes the other week! Also, do really pikey stuff like check your shop receipts thoroughly for pricing mistakes. I got overcharged by 20p for some toothpaste the other day in Asda, so I went to the desk. They gave me 20p, plus put £2 on a giftcard (which was what I paid for the toothpaste), so they paid
me 20p to take 2 tubes of toothpaste! Tesco do this too if they overcharge you, Sainsbury's don't though . I also go bargain hunting for reduced price stuff at the supermarkets/local shops, I know what times they reduce stuff

I never pay full price for bread, always get it reduced and keep it in the freezer. Same for meat - tonight we have some reduced to 30p stewing steak which I've made into a stew

It's quite fun being a tightarse, I enjoy it far too much

Lettuce, I'm sorry you don't feel able to share how you're feeling with your family. Poor Jen, hope she's ok now!
Well done on passing the fitness test Blondey!
