Thanks for all your thoughts ladies. The service was really lovely. I think as I'm so far away though, the reality of it hadn't really hit me, so I was really emotional. Lots of family on hand with tissues though! Sooo many people turned up! My family is like the Norfolk Mafia lol... complete with a very religious catholic service, with all the hail mary's and amens in the right place. There were a hell of a lot of Godfather type characters around! Got to meet a lot of my family too, which has been a long old time coming. Spooked a lot of the older ones, as apparently I'm the image of my Nan when she was younger.

This may not mean much to anyone but Ley, but there was a dedication to Ant Adams in the service. I knew he had been killed, but didn't know him. Turns out, we were actually 3rd cousins. Not only that, but my mum used to be best mates with the lad who stabbed hims mum. Small, small world. Cannot believe that the little boy I knew grew up into a killer :nope: his poor mum. x x
 
aww Leah, I'm glad the funeral went as well as could be expected.
The lad who has been charged is Ryan Bowers but my next door neighbours brother has apparently had something to do with it as well and has been released on bail until July.
I'm a bit scared of my neighbour now (I mean I was always worried but more so now).

Good job I'm going to have to move house soon now I think.

Yep, Ryan is mum's friends 2nd youngest, same school year as my brother. New him since he was about 5. Scary to think that he ended up doing that.
