Im going to docs 6th july so will mention coming off pill in december and will probably start taking folic acid . i need 5mg so have to have it prescribed. I cant wait to see the midwife, it will be another step closer. it will be a little scary when i have to see her because caleb will be 7 months old but at least by december he will be 1 and by the time i got pregnant he could be over 2 anyway.
Im glad ive got you all though to talk about ttc and babies because otherwise i would go mad lol xx

I can see a wall with a really dull calancer a fire extinguisher (sp) and a radiator my desk is a shit hole. Maybe i will take a pic at the end of the day when i have tidied it up lol.

I agree Faye, that will be a lovely age gap. I'm hoping we'll be able to have an age gap about that size as well... I think I'd like a maximum of 2 and half years between them. There were 4 years between me and my brother on Mum's side, and 9 years between me and my brother on Dads side. As I grew up with Mum, I don't think I would have been close to my youngest brother even if we were closer in age, but I've never been that close to the brother I did grow up with either. I think it's because we were just far enough apart to always be in different schools.

But, we'll see, as I know Dan won't make baby number 2 until we have managed to buy a house. Seems scary to be planning number 2 when number 1 is not even in existence yet! As I want 4, I guess I'll be baby making for a while to come yet

How many does everyone else want? Dan only wants 3, but I'll get my way so long as getting my way doesn't mean the other children will suffer! x x

I think we will stick to at moment because of bieng in flat , but if i can get a job and oh gets onto managment training we will have 3 once we have a house. oh really wants a girl so said if next one is a boy we will def try for 3.
There is mainly boys on my dads side of the family and steves family is mixed. I really would like a girl next to x

i always thought 2 but over time i think i have come to the decision that i want 3 lol. OH wants 2 births lol so im hoping for twins second time around lol.

With regards to the age gap - there is 2 years between me and my sister and as much as i love her we never got on until we both left home. we used to fight all the time about anything. chalk and cheese. we were just so different. There is 10 years between adam and his brother (younger) and they have such a great relationship. His brother admires him so much and so lovely to watch them together. Although i think it was prob lonely for adam growing up and now adam has left home a bit lonely for his brother all of a sudden.

Personally i would like about 2/3 years between mine.

I think 1 for now, but moving forward i'd like 2 or 3. Kam often joked he wanted as many as possible in just one pregnancy (he's talking octomum!) lol

my sister is 2 yrs younger than me, and like you LH we faught like cat and dog until I left home, my brother is 12 yrs younger and he's our pet... totally spoilt! my best friend has two boys, 13 months apart and though they do fight, they are the total best of friends, so thats a nice gap to me!

same! i love her even more as she lives nearly 2 hrs away! absence makes the heart grow fonder n all that! after 3 days of her, I'm ready to send her back (she'll be here next week!)

I do like the idea of them being friends

I also like the idea of having them all close enough together to get the baby years out of the way before I get too old to have the energy for them. I don't even think I really have the energy now LOL. More so than that, I want to be young enough to enjoy them living their lives as they grow up - I want to be young enough to enjoy them gettin married, maybe go on family holidays, etc. But still just old enough to embarass them

Love the idea of multiples... but not the reality of it! We were talking about it the other day, as there are several sets of twins in my family, non-identical as well, so the kind that they think may be hereditary... and we just could not afford to have two in one go! Obviously if it happened, we'd have no choice but to make do, but I'm not sure if that's the life I want to give my children. But aaaaaw matching hats and dresses and the like!! Very torn lol x x x

LOL, when i first set up in here, I joked I'd have to practice my "waking up but wide awake" voice... I will admit to taking one nap when utterly depressed and no one bothered me

ooh Kam loves the ideas of multiples, but gosh the logisitics of it! the office will be a nursery so i cant fit TWO cots where the bed is without having to move the office out, and need a bigger car... and OMG double childcare costs!

Double child care costs is what would get us too! One of us would have to stop working, as I reckon it would cost more than Dan's income at least to have both in childcare at the same time. It would probably be easier when I earn a little more in a few years (fx'd lol) but either way, I don't know whether I can be bothered to be a full-time bread winner while he gets to be a SAHD! I'd be too jealous... and when would I have time to scrapbook??!

There is 4 years between me and my brother and we have only really got on since maybe 2 years ago. He's always been a mommy's boy lol.
At the moment we are lucky i probably could stay at home but that would be saving every penny for bills. So fx'd i can get just a part time job to cover bills and we should get extra after bills then its money for baby #2 and xmas etc.

i loved the idea of twins until my best friends auntie got pg with twins. the reality hit me when we started talking about it just scared me too much. Esp if its your first - everything is so new anyway but dealing with it twice in one go. No thank you. Also the pg is more complicated. My best friends aunts waters broke last week on one of the sacs and she is on total bed rest. She is only 25 weeks! its a very scary time for them at the moment. very touch and go

I want to get my kids out the way as well so i can enjoy life after them. I know this sounds mad but my parents arnt even 50 yet and me and my sister have both moved out and they go on nice holiday and have nice cars. They are still young enough to go out and really enjoy things again and i like that. I think id like to have my 2/3 kids by the time im 30. Right now though i just want 1........please.
