Pronouced Vee go. It's for a boy everyone tells me it's awful, but I am in love with it, any opinions?

I'm not sure on the name, to be honest, but do associate it with a creepy cardboard cut-out we used to have at work of Viggo Mortensen (sp?)!
He was in Lord of the Rings... we had a life-size cut-out leaning on a pillar and he would stare at me all the time. I had to move it!!

I'm not much help though, am I?

lol i love lord of the rings, everyone thinks it's weird :haha:

I probably shouldn't admit this in public... it's downright unpatriotic of me...
I've never actually seen LOTR!!

Personally, I love it, it's unusual but your little dude will be one of a kind too and deserves something original. Well, that's our way of thinking for our little boy, anyway :D

Neither have I, lol

Anyway, it's a very unusual name, but I quite like it :)

I did start watching it once, but found it a bit boring.
I keep it quiet around here though - Peter Jackson is a national hero and half my home town have some connection with it...

But this is not a LOTR thread, it's one about the name Viggo. Which I quite like... if I can get past the scary cardboard cut-out thing! :haha:
Promise I'll stop hijacking your thread now. :)

It's definately different! Kinda sounds like more of a nn to me tho. Maybe it can be shortened to Viggo from a longer name? Like Vincent, Victor, Vincenzo, or something??

Kinda cute tho, it's growing on me!

I've liked Viggo ever since LOTR :P As long as his last name isn't Mortissen, because that sounded like rigormortis (I nearly wrote "rogermortis" - I must be very tired!), which was really a bad name choice, IMO.

I think there is someone in Ghostbusters 2 called Viggo. It reminds me of that :)

I like it. It's definitely different, and if you've fallen in love with it, I say go for it!
