I thought the Grotto would open this morning with it being the 25th... obviously I was wrong :(

Btw Tesco had their mini mega blox reduced from £12 a tub of 100 to £2.50 yesterday. Bargain!
 
I just tried to use Studio to order some Babys 1st xmas wrapping paper and some other wrapping paper and it made me open an account that I didn't really want? I guess it's not possible to buy outright with them? My credit ratings crap so if it goes on that, not sure I'll even be accepted. Will I still be able to order? Can't find Baby 1st xmas paper anywhere else online!
 
Im with studio. ive got bad credit and got accepted by hubby gopt good credit and hasnt lol. U have to open an account you cant just buy the stuff im affraid... If your not accepted maybe you could ring them and ask, you never know lol
 
How annoying you can't just buy the stuff outright :( my mother has used them a lot in the past and fell into this trap. Spending and not realising how much it all comes to in the end and spends years paying it all back.
 
You could have an account and make sure you pay it off when you order stuff? I'm not sure if they would still charge their service charge though-which works out quite expensive!

Ive had studio for a long time and for a 300 credit limit, if you reach that its 14.99 pm which to me is good.aslong as you pay ontime you have no problem. But you could order something and pay as soon as your account is billed
 
The bargain thread was fantastic last year! Can't wait to be bargain hunting again lol. Trying to hold out till my first full wage in sept, back to work Monday :-(
 
I LOVED the bargain thread. Well so far I have 5 presents for Christmas 1 DVD,a ds game and 2 imaginext batman toys for Tyler and a gruffalo hand puppet for Zack And all of them have been bargains :) I'm going by the same a I did last year and try not to pay full price for anything :)
 
This year im planning on being on being one of those smug people who gets the shopping done and dusted early and watch everyone else at work panic :smug:
 
Ha ha that was me last year, then oh on Xmas eve asked if I wanted to go to the shopping centre with him for some bits?!? Errr no, I'm ready to drop and that's why my shopping was done well in advance! It was quite nice to relax so doing same this year. X
 
I was all ready by the the time Christmas week came apart from fresh food,but oh and I decided to go to the city centre the day before Xmas eve jt for the Christmassy feeling we didn't actually want anything so it didn't matter about the rushing etc. this year I'll e approx 26 weeks pregnant so not sure what the plans will be
 
On Christmas Eve I will be 31 weeks so i will just be waddling around the little area i live in looking at the lights. I usually work until 12ish on Christmas Eve too so will take advantage of the clearer roads getting home.
 
Ive finished all my Christmas Presents for LO,SS & SD And i bought near enough all of it for half price or less :D LOVE abit of bargain hunting x
 
I've finished shopping for most people got quite a few bits for my little man just getting stuff when on offer!! :) glad to be mostly done as we're moving in a month of two x
