The Sims 3

I was wondering if anyone is interested in a Sims 3 thread?

I was hoping people could post details of some characters they have made on here as I have no imagination at all! I always make my sims to have good lifes, get married and have kids lol, I just cant seem to think of any bad situations and cant do it. Any help would be great LOL xx

I do the same... my sims always live happily ever after with lots of children who do their homework and succeed in life.

I'm always tempted to make them criminals, but I just can't do it!

Yup it makes life so boring lol. Mine always end up with top jobs, perfect scholar kids and perfect lives. I just can't seem to do it either and if I do I always try and make them nice again LOL x

I used to love sims 2 so I thought I might aswell get sims 3. Didn't get very far with it though. My eldest helped make Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens (apparantly I did it wrong the first time) but they had a baby girl and named her Carly or something like that when I was playing one of the Maxis families and the stupid game wouldn't let me change her name. It has since sat and gathered dust...

i always seem to make familys based on like real life people i know etc

how sad!
sometimes i just get bored and get one of them 2 start flirting with the postman or something though hahaha!
oh & once my speakers didn't work so i couldn't hear the fire alarm & the cooker was on fire which lead to one of the mums being killed in fire and then they put the gravestone in your garden and the sims always go to it and cry!

also if they look in the telescope too much they can get taken by aliens.

im hooked on sims3, been playing it since sims originally came out lol. i cant seem to make bad sims either, i want to but i just cant! lol

yeah i talked my mom into buying sims when they first came out.. I got the family hooked... i can make some evil sims though.. if you have the klepto trait when you go places and no one is there you can steal stuff lol

custom content i am hooked on, i can spend hours aswel doing houses up. the simsresource is a good place for downloads, altho they havent got as much for sims3 just yet, unless you have a subscription..which i dont lol just the normal registered thing

Yeah I use those too but haven't installed any cusom content on Sims 3 yet. I feel that with being able to cahnge colours of thigs yourself then I don't really need too. But I will probably download clothing as the clothing is pretty crap! xx

yea its clothing i mainly download.

one thing i do miss tho is the lack of empty lots, as in no houses on at all and the fact you cant place more empty lots in other areas, theres lots of places id like to place a lot but cant!

Yup I dont like that either! There are soooo many places I want to make houses but cant xx

was soo noyt impressed last nite was saving my game, id soent ages editing the town traking out all the rubbish families and houses
clearing lots of lots and building new ones and during the save process it crashedand remoeved the entire saved game!!!! 8hours of work went poof!!
