This past while I cannot even stand the thought of food. I seem to have gone off every food there is mostly. I tried to make myself some of that Heinz Spaghetti there now but I was cooking it and I just felt so sick looking at it. I ended up having a yoghurt instead.

I've been living on cereal, yoghurts, lots of milk and orange juice and thats about it. I feel terrible as I want to eat for my baby but I just can't face anything :(

So anyone else feeling like this? If so, how are you dealing with it? :)

to be fair most food make me feel yuck lol
i can only eat wat i fancy which is great as i got no food in lol.
o the fun

I feel like that until I actually force myself to eat something and then I feel tons better. x

Hey, I feel just like that! I basically see it as its better to eat something than to eat nothing at all. The only big meals I can eat are takeaway food! I'm just trying to eat the food that I can stomach and eating a lot of it, have an app with my midwife soon so hope to get advice from her. I hope things get better for you!

I'm getting into that stage now, i live on tomato based stews, pasta, chillis etc and the very thought of it now makes me feel sick!

I suffered with terrible sickness first time round, when you feel like this its important to eat what you can. Last night only sausage and mash would do - not overly nutritious, but better than nothing. x

There's not a whole lot of anything that I want to eat right now besides chocolate ice cream. I've found that choosing something bland, this morning I had oatmeal, is the best choice. Food that isn't too smelly is the best for me, if it has a strong odor then I can't eat it. I made Italian beef in the crock pot all day on Saturday and by the time it came to eating it, I had smelled it all day and could barely get any down. Don't worry about your pumpkin, he or she is getting first dibs on anything you do get in and you get the leftovers.

Thanks :)

The only big meal I can manage too is curry sauce and chips from the local Chinese!

Are you due on March 14th too? I feel so bad for eating rubbish food too, but surely its better to eat something than nothing at all?! Just hope that baby isnt addicted to crappy food when he/she is older hopefully!

I haven't eaten a vegetable in 7 weeks and I've been so fussy with food, esp dinner which I haven't really had for a while.
But today I gave myself a kick up the backside and made myself eat. I even managed a big fruit salad. And I feel so much better. I'm telling myself that the thought of eating is worse than actually eating. Hopefully this stategy will work beyond today!

Yep, well some websites have told me March 13th and others March 14th. The midwife told me March 14th though so I guess I'll go with that till I get my scan next Monday.

Hopefully it won't have any effect on the baby!

I've not been to bad, but lately the thought of mushrooms makes me feel really sick! x

i was like that all day yesterday OH made me feel so vad saying i would cause a m/c if i didnt eat, so i forced down mcdonalds chips and an apple i felt so much better after that though...

I feel the same! Ive felt so sick this past week, its coming and going in waves. The one thing Ive found though is that my nausea is at its worst when my stomach is empty, and I have to more or less force myslef to eat, but once I do eat I feel so much better! Thats how its been for me recently anyway, but I have just been managing a bit of toast here and there, plain biscuits or a plain sandwich or something. Its really difficult though when your stomachs churning and you know you need to eat but cant face it :( I hope this stage passes soon for us all x

That's not nice and that wouldn't happen. DH used to make me so angry when I was preg with DD and sick, he told me I was starving the baby which is nonsense. Anything you eat goes straight to the baby, you get the leftovers.
