I passed! i had 4 minors, which after no sleep i think is pretty good!! thanks for all your encouragement ladies it's been a fab help to come here and vent and talk and just encourage one another. im still gonna watch this thread because theres still a few of you im going to be rooting for!!!! my advice is do whatever you can to stop the nerves!! i think the fact i had been up all night helped my nerves in the end somehow :S i was calmer than before. i didnt even take my rescue remedy

Woop woop, I passed my driving test today in Swindon with 5 minors, 5th time so definitely not a natural driver lol! I was convinced I had failed as I made some awful mistakes & sure I could see the examiner ticking like mad on the sheet My parallel park was horrendous and I was so far away from the kerb you could have parked a motorbike alongside me I just asked if I could pull forward to straighten up so that I could get a little closer though. I kept telling myself that it was ok I could get a cancellation and do a test next month and I really think this helped keep the nerves at bay a little.
Goodluck to all you learning, you will get there if I can do it sure you ladies can!

thanks all and well done willow!! i drove to work today on my own, it was weird cuz my b/f is always with me usually and it knocked my nerves a bit being on my own!! xxx

Well done on your driving on your own Leafy it is scarey though isn't it. Was it far? I had a little drive yesterday on my own, was too scared to park at the local shop so ended up driving back home and walking back down to the shops to get the bread!! Oh thinks I should just be able to go out and drive now, but tbh the thought terrifies me really need to do a big shop but think it will have to wait until Wed when OH is off and he can come with me.....

It is soooo scary!! it wasnt far - only 5 mins down the road, but just doing roundabouts and things on my own was so nerve-racking. i suppose the more you do it though, the easier it will get. xx

what times your test kiki? try & distract yourself as much as possible - the more i thought about everything going over and over everything in my head the worse i was. because i was in work the night before i didnt really have time to think about it! i think it helped not stressing so much, i know its easier said than done xxx

Yeah its my third go kate so feel so nervous! It's at 2 and my last lesson was sooooo BAD i couldnt judge anything Hope it is 3rd time lucky I would go to college on thursday but dont think I can bring myself to go in and then not freak out and tell everyone, plus me and my class don't get on (they basically bully me, no joke, they tell me to shut up all the time its horrible) and the thought of getting abuse then going to the test seems worse than waiting around to get picked up
