The worst Christmas present ever!!!!!

I thought it would be fun to share some of the bad Christmas gifts we've received over the years! Maybe bc it was tacky, or ugly, or just not your style.....!?

I'll start.......

The worst present i ever received was in a Secret Santa gift exchange at work the one year. We were supposed to exchange $10 gifts -- and i put so much thought into trying to find the perfect gift! I was so excited to receive mine! I opened it up & it was a used decorative bell that you hang on a door knob, and it had a christmas bow on it! Yikes!


I know it's "the thought that counts" but c'mon ladies.... i think we've all opened a present at some point & found it hard to smile & say "I love it!

I had sample perfume bottles the tiny weeny ones and cream off my auntie once..said not for resale on the back and she worked in a chemist!!!! LOL

I got a george foreman grill off the inlaws last year, maybe not such a bad present but its still unopened in the box!!

Me and OH got a box of Fox's biscuits last year from his nan! Lol.

I dont think that there is anything else that I havent liked because my family always ask what I want so its always something I have told them to buy.

mine has got to be a spatula. ok it was in the shape of a guitar... but it's still a spatula.

OH bought me a collectable doll once - you know the ornament kind but massive. I hate dolls, they frighten me. I kept making excuses as to why it was hidden under the bed for months then had to get it out eventually. I still can't look at her face.

I was bought a suitcase a bit random i thought, it wasn't even particularly nice

I wished for the ashes 2005 dvd set. and i got: a set of 20 recordable DVDs with the note that i could lend the dvd from my friends .. nobody german would have this dvd so it was useless.

All of these are cracking me up! A spatula! A polly pocket! A random suitcase! Blank DVDs! Perfume samples!



They are all so funny! What are people thinking? Some "re-gifts" they passed along i would think!

DH's auntie gave him (and all his cousins) a fluffy duster one year - they still tease her about it. Mine has to be a dream catcher than DH got me when we first started going out - it was MASSIVE - bright orange and had loads of feathers on it that looked suspiciously like pigeon feathers! It was hideous & when we moved in together it 'got lost' in the move!
