thin positive

I took a test last week but I wasn't sure what I was seeing. I decided to retest last night and within a minute a thin line appeared. Like if only one side of it lit up. The rest was there but faint. This morning was lighter but also still there. Does a thin line still mean a positive? I'm really anxious because I've been ttc for about 4 years now with one miscarriage last March. I have the really sore boobs. So bad I can't stand face first in the shower or sleep on my stomach. And I have to breath each morning calmly to not gag or throw up. I am going to try again with a different test. But what do you guys think? Does it sound promising?!
