Things I wish I knew before I had my baby

I didn't realise that in some hospitals they seperate Mum and baby though - here baby rooms in with Mum 24/7 and they're are strict instructions NEVER to leave your baby unattended in hospital. They let some people out for cigs but generally have a grump and remind smokers they're not babysitters and that's the only time I've seen Mum and baby apart!

Here they took care of her at night and just brought her in for feeding. The second night I kept her with me though. Also they would take her if I needed a break, which was fantastic as I had a bit of an emotional melt down my last day at the hospital. hehe :blush:
