did anyone notice something they done differently and then they fell preg..? something you took..? something you done..?

also, i am going to start taking vitamins again - which are best to take when ttc? :)

When I asked my primary doc about this she said just 800mcg of folic acid is all you need until you actually get PG. Then you can start on a prenatal. I had a hard time finding just a folic acid pill that was not super expensive. So I started taking a store brand prenatal. There are different theories on taking vitamin A (I think) and other things in the prenatal but as with anything everyone has an opinion!

If you are looking for something to increase your chances of TTC I hear chanteberry (regulates cycles?), green tea (increases CM), evening primrose oil taken up until OV date (increases CM), and grapefruit juice (increase CM) and Im sure there are others I am forgetting. Hope that helps!

I just take folic acid which is important for the development of baby's spinal cord. It's recommended that you take it even before conception. I just use Boots own brand which was pretty inexpensive actually. Just over £5 for six months worth. Because they're only folic acid, the tablets are really small. The multiple vitamin ones I found in Sainsbury's were huge and really put me off.

Oh, and I've been only drinking green tea after 2pm for about 3 years so it's just a bonus for me that it increases CM!
