Things to do around the pool

I'm looking for some ideas which will hopefully lead to a present for my OH (I'm losing hope at this point though )

I'm an avid reader so on holiday around the pool that's what I do. My OH hates reading so he's very easily bored!

He plays music on his iPhone and will occasionally take his tablet to watch a film but other than that he sits bored!

Anyone have any ideas of what I could get him to do?

I'm like your husband I couldn't sit doing nothing all day. Depending where you are could he do scuba or some sort of water sports in the pool?

Playing cards? As pp said though, there's usually planned activities in the pool x
