Think I had a chemical pregnancy. Am I right?

So I had my last period on 25th Feb. Did not have one in March so I took 2 HPTs. The tests were positive and my husband and I were elated. I immediately went into pregnancy mode...even thinking of names etc...
I went to the dr and he sent me for an ultra sound after I tested negative at his office. There was nothing on the scan. I started bleeding about two days after...It was like a period...a little lighter..
After the second day of bleeding I took another HPT test and it was negative. The bleeding has basically stopped...(lasted about six days).
I have to see the dr. in about a weeks time...
I the means time, I really do think that I had a very early miscarriage. I am so confused...anyone else experienced this?

Hello hun i have had two chemical/ early miscarriages and my tests were light, they fade and fade over a day or two followed by a heavy bleed. I was spotting and getting faint lines with the second. It's extremely upsetting to have a day or two of thinking your pregnancy journey is starting then to bleed. You should be ok to try again when you are ready. I hope you are feeling ok xx
