Hi everyone:hi:

Been lurking in here for a while as i dont really feel like i belong in ttc but im not even sure if i belong here either, im beginning my 18th cycle ttc, i have 1dd who is 2 and we took approc 1.5yrs to conceive then so im hoping i can belong here more now, at what point are you classed as long term?

Im really down in the dumps at the moment, my cycles are regular, ive had 21 day blood test which showed a good strong ovulation, my gp has told me there is no other help on offer so im in limbo now and im hoping i can maybe make some friends in here to help with this journey as atm i feel like no one understands and all i hear is "i should feel lucky to have the chicld i have already", which of course i do but i feel incomplete:cry: and feel lost

:hi: I have unexplained infertility. Dh fine... Me fine. They don't know what's wrong. Took us 2 years to conceive DD1 and we are now on our 21st cycle trying for #2 without any successes.

Your classed as long term after 12 months. I kinda hide out in LTTTC area because the girls there are awesome and kind. Also I find it hard in the other ordinary TTC boards. The simplicity of TTCing without problems, with all its excitement...well I'd give anything to have that.

Anyway... just thought I'd say hi and come join us over on LTTTC boards :)

Hey hun...SO sorry to hear about all of your frustration and struggle with TTC, hopefully the women on this forum can help to offer you the support and comfort needed to make it through your journey to conceiving #2, everyone on here is so wonderful :D

I too have unexplained infertility, I finally saw a specialist and she put me on Clomid and I conceived my DS nearly straight away, have you ever thought about seeing another doctor who is willing to do more to help? Some doctors just send you on your way and tell you to be patient and keep trying, but the really good one's can totally understand and empathize with what this struggle does to you emotionally and physically and they're willing to do whatever it takes to help you get your BFP as soon as possible

I hope you get your BFP VERY soon, lots of luck to you!! :hugs:

Thanks so much girls for responding, it helps to know your not alone. Hope you both get your BFP veryy soon and def think im more at home here so thank you Kx

Hi there. Welcome. I have also been ttc 18 months and am so pee'd off sometimes! I do have two lovely kids already, conceived after 3 and 5 months. They are now 8 and 5.Turned 39 yesterday...tick tock tick tock. Fingers crossed we get our BFPs soon. x
