Anyone else not ready for 3rd tri yet?

With my last pregnancy I couldn't wait to hop over there, but this time I just seem to still relate to 2nd tri threads. Everything in 3rd tri seems to be related to almost being in labor or, is this labor, or 'this is it!" and Im not even close to that yet lol.

Any other ladies who are entering 3rd tri but gonna hang out here longer?

I feel the same way. I'm 27+3, and I've popped over to 3rd tri a couple of times. So far, I haven't felt like I fit in at all. You're right, everything over there seems to be about birth or labor watching. And we still have months to go for that! I'm thinking around 32 weeks I'll probably head over there for good. I remember feeling this way coming into 2nd tri as well. I think it was around 16 weeks that I started to relate to 2nd tri posts.

I think as more people who are in second tri with you start to move over it will be more "opening". I guess that is the word :haha:

yeah I think thats it. When more of you ladies move over it'll be different cause we will all be in early 3rd tri lol.

you know what im 37 weeks and i am still not ready for third tri!! i spend more time here, third tri is very labour based

I couldn't wait to get over to the 2nd trimester but now am not anxious to get to the 3rd trimester. I've grown to really enjoy the posts on this board and will most likely continue on this forum into my third! :)

2nd tri is definitely my favourite! 1st tri is full of worries, 3rd is labour based. 2nd you just enjoy being pregnant and all the fun stuff.

Lol same! I want her here but at the same time I don't want to think about/talk about labour :haha:

I remember that being how I was with my first. I'm impatient though so I did hop over as soon as I hit 3rd tri. But I loitered around here for ages too lol

Me! I'm supposed to move over tomorrow, but I think I'm going to stick around for a few more weeks (if you ladies don't mind!)

I've never really just stuck to my trimester. When I come on here, I click on "new posts" then make my way through them, flitting in where there's a post I have a response to. 1st, 2nd, 3rd tri, baby club, pregnancy - wherever :D

Yeah it seems like they are all labour threads. There needs to be a 2.5 trimester lol

Oh wow and I thought I was gonna be the only one! There's a huge group of us not ready to jump over to 3rd (I'll be 27w in 2 days). Waaaaay to early to read all the labour posts.

I am also in between...though with 2nd trimester I also feel there are posts regarding "20 week scans" etc and I've already been through all of that...but at the same time most of the posts in 3rd trimester are labor watching, etc...agreed that we need a 2.5 trimester post lol!

haha yes I agree a 2.5 trimester board would be great, but then again I feel like right now in the 'transitional' phase from 2nd to 3rd tri, pregnancy is all of a sudden kind of at a standstill. I find nothing happens between 24-30 weeks. I mean yes, were growing a baby and thats amazing but there's no scans or 'big' appointments to look forward to, makes it go so slow! So therefore there's really nothing to relate to in the threads (I find, at least) Only thing to do is the glucose test...yuck!

Ugh. I agree. Although I do have a 28 week scan next week!

Me too! I'll join the 2.5 trimester thread! :) we really need one! Still have a few days to reach third trimester but i just dont feel like i fit anywhere. Definitely not the third trimester.
Ladies lets get together and talk about all the nice things of the pregnancy (the kicking, still eating with no hurtburn, setting up the nurseries, and showing off our nice round bellies) this is the best time and it's happening now. Feels like labor is far away

thats a good idea! Since were in the in-between... I feel like I can see the finish line, but I have to wear binoculars to see it haha. Just to describe how I feel about the 27-30 week mark! yes, 3 more months is nothing compared to the 6 months we've already gone through, but I feel like the final trimester is gonna DRAG! ESP because my first baby was born at 33 weeks gestation, (and believe me I would never wish that upon anyone, as that NICU journey was the hardest thing we've ever had to go through) but with that being said, I'm gonna feel overdue after 33 weeks since I have never carried past that before!
