I have just been going through the price lists for all the venues on our 'short-list' and just seen this one that I somehow missed before 
...
They dont charge a venue hire, but instead just charge per head (with a minimum number of heads)
This is what their wedding package includes:
As we have decided that we actually dont want hoards of people (70-80 people MAX), that actually works out really well for us. AND, my friend works for them so I have an insider to make sure everything goes to plan!!
The only downside is that it doesnt have a wedding licence so the ceremony would need to be held elsewhere, which is also ok coz I only want bare minimum people at the ceremony anyway (parents, bridesmaids, grooms best men...no brothers, sisters etc), and this venue has no parking
But I was thinking, if we are getting all that for so cheap (for what it is) then I would consider just hiring a bus to collect people from a specified location 
Yet to go see the place, but the pics look ok. I'll be gutted if I go there and it's a complete crap-hole
But all this is only gonna cost £1k - £1.5k more than just the price of venue hire for some of our other venues

- Reception drinks of Bucks Fizz or Pimms on arrival
- Three course wedding breakfast including coffee (choose two set meals for each course)
- Half a bottle of wine per person with the meal
- A glass of sparkling wine for the toast
- Evening disco
- All table linen and napkins
- Use of silver cake stand and knife
- Evening buffet (8 items, extra items £1 each per person)
- Hall hire
- Security
