Is there anyone with some experience in running a group such As messy play for pre schoolers?

Other than public liability insurance is there anything else I need to think about law wise ?

How would I go about choosing a name - like messy monsters etc - how do I ensure I'm not doing anything wrong by using a name that is copyrighted?

Thank you in advance ladies !

If you live in the States, your homeowners policy (assuming you'd be running it out of your home) might not cover anything used for the business. For example, if you lose your home to a natural disaster, it won't pay to replace any of the toys/supplies/lost income/etc.

You might want to talk to your agent before starting it as well, since some companies consider home based businesses started without their knowledge a violation of the policy terms.

(This is just for the States, I don't know if it's the same in other countries!)
