Just read about this in the paper the other day and i thought it was interesting and could possible be of some value to someone somwhere...:)

I particularly like the fact that it is much more affordable than IVF. Hopefully it will be much more available as im sure there are people out there who could benefit from this new procedure.. anywhoo..enjoy your saturday, ladies! :)

i spotted the flaw! yes it cheeper but its sucess rates are still alot lower.. nearly half lower than normal IVF.. i say it counts 2 pay extra for that better sucess rate.. they shouldnt advertise it untill the sucess rates have risen.. :(

I hear what you're saying..... I guess maybe it could still be an option for those who cannot pay for ivf or have pcos.... The original clinic that pioneered this are doing very well with this procedure but as you say, if you had the option of either you would naturally go with the one that has a higher success rate.

It's no real difference to frozen egg transfer in terms of success rates so they have every right to advertise it as a cheaper alternative. I know in my current hospital FET has only a 19% chance of success, on average, compared to 33% or so for IVF.

I read about this a while ago. Think it's great that fertility treatments are broadening.
