This is going to sound like a stupid question!

When yout put your formula into your water (when the water is hot), do you find that powder sticks to the scoop? If so, does that mean they're not getting as much formula as they should?

Hi, I count the scoops out into a small, dry pot and then pour that in the bottle quickly. That way nothing sticks onto the scoop, and not much sticks to the pot!

I have saved them from each carton and half way through (as the scoop becomes more clogged) I use a fresh one.

With my first, I did what loopy loulou did. I used the little formula storage pots for taking a bottles worth out for the day. The sticky powder ued to drive me mad!

TBH the amount of powder that sticks to the scoop is minimal, although obviously the more powder on the scoop, the less you're putting in the bottle, but I doubt LO would notice a difference. Simply because I was bored of continually washing the scoop out, I now dispense into little pots (I use the Tommee Tippee food storage pots), and then tip into the bottle. The pots are wider than the neck of the bottle, but they are flexible enough to bend into a narrower shape to tip it in.

I have about 3 scoops on the go so I usually use a clean one for each feed. Yes, it's very annoying when the milk sticks to them X

I have some TT formula tubs so have been using them. Great idea and works a lot better. Can't believe I never thought of it!
