The name I want cannot be as hubby refuses.... Eliza Rose (how he can't LOVE this is driving me crazy!!
Anyway, how do these sound:
Etta Eliza
Lucy Eliza.. hubby's fav
Amelia Rose
Laurel Rose
Nora Eliza
Etta Rose
Mena Eliza
thanks for your opinions!

Etta Eliza - Dislike both Etta and Eliza a lot. Doesn't flow great, prefer how Etta Rose sounds.
Lucy Eliza - Lucy is ok, but a bit plain in my opinion, prefer it spelt Lucie too. Flows fine.
Amelia Rose - LOVE this!!. Flows beautifully!
Laurel Rose - Not keen on Laurel. Doesn't flow great, prefer how Laurel Eliza sounds.
Nora Eliza - LOVE LOVE LOVE Nora, but prefer it spelt Norah. Flows fine, but prefer how Nora Rose sounds.
Etta Rose - Again, dislike Etta a lot. Flows nice.
Mena Eliza - Dislike Mena a lot. Flows fine, but prefer how Mena Rose sounds.

If it was me I would use Norah Rose.......:cloud9:.

:flower:

Etta Eliza Don't think it sounds quite right..
Lucy Eliza.. hubby's fav Pretty!
Amelia Rose Lovely
Laurel Rose Pretty and unusual!
Nora Eliza Not sure if it flows...
Etta Rose Not a huge fan of Etta, but it's pretty
Mena Eliza Doesn't quite work for me.

Lucy Eliza (or Lucy Rose is lovely too!) or Amelia Rose :) xx

I'd beware of Mena if it's pronounced the same as the word "meaner". Kind of sounds like an evil twin...("This is Eliza, and this is Mena Eliza"...) Maybe that's just my silly mind!

Etta Eliza- Very cute
Lucy Eliza- Okay, not sure about Lucy, but it's getting quite uncommon so she'd be one of the only ones
Amelia Rose- Very very common, plus I don't like Amelia
Laurel Rose- Adorable
Nora Eliza- I love this
Etta Rose- Again, adorable
Mena Eliza- Unusual but lovely

I like Lucy and Norah (again in comparison to Nora), I'm not a fan of Etta.

I like Amelia but its just way too common now, which has put me right off it. My cousin has an Amelia which was so pretty when she was born, fast forward a few years and it seems every other child is called that.

Xx

So.. we're down to:
Lucy Eliza
Laurel Rose
Amelia Rose

Amelia isn't very common here in the South of US anymore... so not too worried about that

All are lovely - you can't lose here. I'd keep these as your short list and see which suits her best when she arrives! :flower:

I like Amelia Rose (obv... :haha:) but if here at least Laurel is different. I'd say one of those is my fave.

I really love both Amelia Rose and Laurel Rose. Both are beautiful. I'm not a fan of the first and middle names both ending in the a. Rose is one of two possible middle names we will use depending on the first name- I love it. I think if I had to chose, I'd go with Laurel personally, but both would be lovely.

Don't know that it was listed together but Nora Rose is beautiful.

Amelia Rose is beautiful and common here also but if it's not common where you live then jump on I say!

Where I'm from Nora is an ancient, very plain, old women's name that I could never put on a brand new beautiful baby but that's because it's probably top 5 most common old lady name in Ireland, after Mary, Margaret, Noreen and Eileen lol
