This time next year.........

So girls, it's that time of year when we all start evaluating the year. Although I was convinced this time last year that I would have a little bundle by now, I now know that it's just not that easy!

So Im just wondering where u think u will be in your ttc journey this time next year................

I'm convinced (PMA, PMA) that I will have a little one, or at least a huge bump by next Christmas!!!!!

I'm trying not to think about it too much to be honest - I'll only end up depressing myself ... Although DH is hopeful we'll have our LO or at least a big bump by then ...

I would love to say I'll have a LO by then, but over the years I've tried not to let myself guess like that. But this time next year I will hopefully have at least one IVF attempt out of the way - hopefully without a need for another!

Isn't it eerie how we all think the same pack of absurd thoughts? Jokes aside, dealing with infertility is a special breed of grief and the stages of it are the same as for any other sort of emotional pain except we seem to be stuck in Bargaining for ever so long.

Psycho-mambo-jumbo aside, thinking of my wee baby or my huge bump next Xmas is what made this Xmas bearable

We have just received a date for our initial consultation with IVF Wales. So I'm really hoping that we will be nearing to having our 1st attempt at IVF by then.

I plan on doing my 2nd IUI within the next couple of months, and if that does not work, then having my 1st IVF by this time next year.

Ohmygod...yes trying not to think about it so dont jinx myself...cos this time LAST year i thought I would have been pregnant by now...alas not so easy!! So I won't jump the gun...what with the NHS and all that all I will say is that in 2009...I hope to have some proper fertility treatment as it has taken me since May 2008 to get a first appointment already!

DF and I have said that this time next year we'll be having a quiet Christmas by ourselves on a beach in NZ, either with a big bump or a new baby


My luck it'll be a xmas with both families (so ... hell) and no baby/bump
