Those that had ovarian drilling did it work for you

Hi, i have PCOS & back in march i had ovaria drilling.

I have been on clomid for over a year on 100MG & it did not work for me. I have been told that if the ovarian drilling does not work for me then i have to IVF & will be refered for this.. I have to pay as i already have a child (although it took me 3.5 years to fall with him) so faling pregnant for me is not easy)

My cycles were about 52 days before the ovarian drilling & back in April it came down to 36 days) felt pleased as it seemed the ovarian drilling had worked. My fertility GP has given me until 16th July to fall as that is my next appointment with him & has said this would be plenty of time to see if the drilling had worked

Well this cycle i am already CD42 & dont get why they are increasing in lenght after just 1 shorter cycle . I felt so positive when AF came on 24/5 & we realy put so much effort in as well starting to DTD alot earlier than i was expecting to ovulate based on a 36 day cycle & made sure we carried on for over a week after suspected ovulation as wel DTD every 2 days

I thought that i ovulated on/arounf 15/5 as i got the sore boobs that i get around ovulation but they have been real sore up until a few days ago.

I had spotting on the 18-20th & light brown staining on a pad, i had thought AF was arriving but i was CD25 at that point & it was way to early never in my life had a cycle that short even when on the clomid it was 32 days. Thought maybe ovulation spotting on the 18th but this does not seem to have been the case... I have tested 9 x now since the 18th all been BFN & it is 2 weeks today that we last DTD

Thought AF was coming thurs last week as i was in such pain, with AF cramps/twinges (AF should have been due the 30/5 based on a 36 day cycle) i am now thinking maybe i have not ovulated as the sore boobs have now stopped (they were so painful & nipples felt like they were on fire) from 15th may - 2nd June) i have so much CM though & again have had this since the 15th May but it never resembled fertile CM it is just so creamy TMI & there is just loads of it making me feel wet & often checking to see if AF has arrived

The boobs not being sore is making me wonder if i ovulated just a few days ago (although CM should be drying up now)

I just dont get how i could have only had 1 shorter cycle after the drilling & why now they are already starting to increase. As i said CD42 now & no sign that AF is iminenet

Hi Chelsea, I had the lap, flush tubes, ovarian drilling and d&c on April 20th this year. Previously I was on clomid for a few months but had a ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. Well After my drilling, I had my period at the very 28th mark, but then I am still waiting on my 37th day and still no AF! but I get the annoying cramping like I am going to start any minute. Sore boobs (as wells as enlarged) and I get cold a lot. I figured my body is just trying to adjust to the new change in hormones, but who knows, right? I just went to see the doctor on june 1st and he did say I ovulated, so that's one good news. I was not able to ovulate for years and years. Well, I hope that I could be of little help. I have had one AF since the ovarian drilling that came after 36 days so my cycle got shorter after it but now the 2nd cycle has gone long again

I dont get it??
