I have been exclusively BF for 10 weeks, but last friday started to introduce one formula bottle a day as I want to slowly start moving to FF.

So far so good, he doesn't seem to mind whether he has breast milk or formula.

However I notice when he sicks up after a formula feed its much more thick and goupy compared to more thin than a bf?

Is this normal? and I hope I am make up the formula correctly.

I moved from BF to FF at 8 weeks as going back to work. I noticed a few changes - the milk does seem to be thicker, so seems normal. Also LO had more wind, and also thicker poos/more green.

When I introduced Formula, his spit up would definitely be thicker and more frequent. He also didn't agree with Aptamil, as did up to 8 runny poo's a day, but since changing formulas, he's back to normal. His poo is more solid and green loooking too :) My HV said that it takes a while for BF babies to get used to the formula, so do not worry if there is little more sick or poo for the first week or so.
